Peter is exceptional -- he's hands-on, knowledgeable, and not just an expert in turf, but in every aspect of what it takes to complete a project successfully. It's rare to find someone so committed, reliable, and skilled across the board. I highly, highly recommend them to anyone looking for top-tier results and a stress-free experience. I had…read morereceived 4 other estimates, but what made Peter and Turf Tech stand out was his vision and ideas for our backyard. He made suggestions and recommendations that no one else had mentioned or I had not even thought about. What was also impressive was that he showed up every morning and either had a face to face meeting with me to discuss the project as it progressed or called me, this was invaluable to me! He and his team were also very accommodating with things that came up or ideas or suggestions I made. Having dealt with many contractors on many home projects, Peter and his team stood out as one of the best experiences me and my family have had.

Very unethical company. Had two experts walk the property and determined the project was viable…read more(building a soccer field for my small children). After ripping a giant rectangle of earth and destroying the lawn, they determined there was a slope that was greater than they anticipated (of course this should have been caught in first two walk throughs). Management called determining they found a solution that would work and they would do some extra work to blend the field into the slope. They built a field with a cliff coming off three sides, did no additional blending work as promised, and sent a bill for the full amount. Of course it cost thousands of dollars more to make it safe for use by children. They could have communicated this very simply at the outset or created a new quote to do it properly, but the deposit was paid and they wanted to get the rest of the money despite leaving me a total hazard for the kids and a non functional product. So easy to do the right thing here, I would've proceeded with them regardless but some people just want your money and don't care to do the right thing. That's EasyGrass. Proceed at your own risk.

All he kept saying was we sub-contract this out and that out, and that out. And he didn't even have a "real" number to quote on. In the end, this company really doesn't do anything they state on their website except sell the grass plugs. I would avoid them.

Unfortunately, once the project moved into the scheduling and installation phase, the experience became extremely disappointing. The quality of the installation was poor. The carpet edges were not finished properly, and the bullnose trim on the steps was installed very poorly. The workmanship did not meet basic expectations. What was most frustrating was the lack of accountability afterward. Once corporate payment had already been processed, communication completely stopped. My calls and text messages were never returned. Good contractors stand behind their work and maintain communication even after payment is received. Unfortunately, that was not the case here. Based on my experience, I would not recommend this company. Go to the Hard Rock in Bayside so you can see their work first hand.

I was told she couldn't make assessment appointment immediately and I should provide my contact info and I would get a call back. Never received a call back. I followed up with a text to the number on their voice mail system and received a text response that "they don't do installations". Revisited their website that clearly outlines that installation is part of service offering so I text back asking if something changed given what is outlined on their website. Called back as follow-up to my text about why this process is this confusing and complicated and the story then changed to "they are too busy to do new installs all the time so only do them in slower summer months" - different message than what was in the text response. I asked to speak with manager and was again asked for my info for a 3rd tim - only to still not have received a call back. Was given them as a referral from a broad, reputable network so wasn't expecting this unprofessional, bizarre and dysfunctional experience.
