I have lived in many apartments in my lifetime and their leasing process was definitely the smoothest, quickest and most time efficient. As a nice touch. they even provided a little goodie bag upon move-in that included basic essentials like toilet paper, paper towels, and cleaning products.... their customer service is unmatched in the area. As for the complex, I've lived here just a few weeks, but have had no issues at all.

Unfortunately we did outgrow our unit so we recently had to move, but I'm lucky to have called this place home for 3.5 years. While most of what I have to say is positive, there are a couple of issues that I think are worth mentioning: -For a 1 br, there is little/limited in-unit storage space. The water heater and the washer/dryer (even though I loved having an in-unit washer/dryer) take up a lot of potential cabinet space. -Some neighbors are not very considerate when it comes to respecting reserved parking spaces, or picking up after their dogs. -We found a lot of spiders finding their way into our unit. At the end of the day, I'll definitely miss this place and will always consider The Pines as our first family home.

One woman barely looked up before saying, "Come back at 3:30." We returned at 3:19, no one else was there, I asked if we could tour now since we had already returned 2 hours later. She pointed some people just around the river bend outside the window lol. She told us to sit down and said she'd take us at 3:30. When other staff came in, she disappeared to the back. That's when we left. Finding housing is already stressful. As someone who works in this industry, I can say this is not how you treat potential residents. Makes me want to become a secret shopper again I refuse to spend my money with someone who is clearly incompetent, and lazy. I mean this is who you would have to communicate with if there is ever anything amiss in your unit. I'm glad we walked out, we found a beautiful condo in a much nicer community. Again just go with Greystar and avoid this mess. Majestic Realty Co. tsk tsk ;). I hope the owners get a hold of hiring staff, looked like it could be a nice place if they focus on what customer service does for a business.

This was super convenient! Just a short drive away is the renaissance shopping area which is also really nice. I think most people keep to themselves but I would say everyone is generally pretty friendly. I liked the pet stations that were around the property. Unfortunately, we were forced to look for another place to live due to an unprovoked homophobic attack by our downstairs neighbor. Police were called and she was arrested, but what followed was almost worse than the incident itself. The property management refused to do anything! We sent over the arrest record, video of the arrest, photos where she egged our apartment and nothing was done. The conduct of the tenant in the apartment below us was clearly in violation of the lease (unless Aspire is okay with homophobia?) but nothing was done. They didn't even have the decency to clean the egg off the side of our building as requested. I sent several emails and phone calls asking to escalate the situation to someone higher than the property manager as it seemed she was unwilling to do anything but after that, it was just silence. I realize the above scenario is incredibly specific, but if something like that went unaddressed, I wonder how many other complaints are falling on deaf ears. If not for the above, I think we might have stayed longer despite the high cost of living there. Not just in rent, but the absurd cost to do laundry and hope the dryer you put money into decides to work that day. The cost of utilities exploded in recent years without any explanation. The grounds used to be clean and well maintained, but in recent months was looking pretty bad with kids' toys and bikes strewn across the property. Hopefully they have gotten that under control but it seems unlikely. The worst part in our last months of living there was the lack of communication. Years ago if any major work or inspection was happening, we would get notified way in advance. Before we moved, we were getting notifications on our door less than 24 hours before the noted time. Good luck trying to talk to anyone! The office has posted hours but more likely than not, you'll see a closed sign. I think the neighborhood is great, but there are a lot of other options in the area and I recommend looking around before settling on Aspire. I really loved living here before the property management switch. I'm not sure I would recommend it now.

He bosses kids around after hours, I saw him telling kids who were doing nothing to stop playing. He's a punk. Maintenance and management have trapped cats and dumped them. They're scamming everyone who lives here with high utilities. The plumping sucks and there's always broken water pipes/sprinklers leaking for days straight and management won't fix it. Giselle only cares about her paycheck, she doesn't do a damn thing on this property other than lie, ignore and scam tenants.

Guests and unregistered cars are a no go, and I'm really happy with that! My previous apartment complex has a huge problem with that, there would be random cars parked on free guest spots for days and even WEEKS, maintenance or security doesn't do anything about it. I have problems finding parking as it is, so my new home here will make me feel less stressed and more safe. I'm all about rules to make residents like myself feel safe where they live. I can't tell you how many times they would come out to refix the simplest of things... AC/heater would be out for weeks... I'm happy to say they've completed restaffed and it's become a really pleasant place to live. Candy is very hands on and doesn't waste any time taking care of any issues. Carlos is also incredible. I believe he's maintenance supervisor. I am so glad I no longer need to wait weeks for something to get done. He comes out right away and has an answer/fix immediately.

Homeless people have been seen in our trash cans multiple times. Including one naked right outside the office. My car was broken into while our gate was open, the landlord/manager showed no care or concern on our matter. Safety is an issue here but also the lack of concern they display is enough to drive anyone out. We've had crickets in our light fixtures and they didn't come get the crickets out til there was one carcass left. Same with the other reviews this place also has a big roach problem. We're on the third floor and we still see the occasional roach and we're clean tenants.
