RENTERS/TENANTS BEWARE!!!! If at all possible, please rent…read morethrough another property management company. If you must rent through Meybohm please get everything in writing. Through my business with them I have found them to be dishonest and very manipulative. I say this because they tried to increase my rent outside of the terms that's listed in my lease. When I tried to convey that to them they were very disrespectful. They even tried to scare me into thinking they could evict me if I didn't pay the difference. Luckily I hired an attorney to look over my lease. My attorney sent them a letter through certified mail and they denied receiving it. However, my attorney is efficient and provided me with the documentation. So of course they had to comply with what is legally binding. They then tried to charge me a late fee and an underpayment charge for the previous month. For almost 3 years I'd never been late. I was late this time because that had the illegal amount listed in the tenant portal and you can't pay anything other than what's listed. My attorney told me to only pay what's legally binding. So I got a check and sent it certified mail. Two of the three delivery attempts were unsuccessful bc 1. They didn't provide entry 2. There wasn't anyone who could supposedly sign for it. Because of their underhanded practices I had to protect myself and send it certified. They are unprofessional, disrespectful, dishonest, and very manipulative. READ AND KNOW YOUR LEASE!!!! Document your own service calls with dates, times, and anything else you deem important. Please also check their Google reviews.

I couldn't think of a worse company to do business with. You want to see an apartment available for rent? Be prepared to call a hundred times and get shuffled around for a week first. You have a question about your rental agreement? Be prepared to read a very confusing contract constantly contradicting itself. You want to see your security deposit returned? Fat chance, they're going to trump up a hundred reasons not to give you the money and then try and charge you more than two months rent to leave. I've rented for nearly a decade now and have never been anything short of a great tenant or had any issues with an apartment management company. This is a place of rental nightmare. If you want to rent from them you may as well prepare to donate a grand to their company and go to school to learn to repair issues with the apartment yourself.

Our HOA board decided it was time to look into hiring a new management company for our community…read more We were looking for a full service company that could handle our financials to covenant enforcement and everything in between. We met with several companies and unanimously decided to go with Bragg and Associates. They came on board late 2018. This was a particularly tough time because the board had just announced an increase in home owner dues. To say this did not go over well would be an understatement. Bragg was with us every step of the way. They worked with our old management company to ensure as seamless a transition as possible. Kim Bragg was willing to sit down with us and help us work through issues. Her guidance was instrumental. Cyd, our community association manager is wonderful. She has worked with us on several capital improvement projects that were sorely needed in our community. Any time I call, text, or email she is there for us, even after hours or on weekends. She is a wonderful, persistent yet patient liaison between the board and various contractors and neighbors. She appears at every meeting we have and is willing to provide me and the board with any type report needed in preparation for those meetings. One final example of Cyd's dedication, we ordered 12 new lounge chairs to go around the pool. They came in on a weekday when only one board member was able to meet and unload the truck. Cyd took it upon herself to meet that board member and help unload the truck in 100 degree Evans, GA heat. That is amazing to me but all in a days work for her and Bragg and Associates. If you are looking for a management company to handle every aspect of your community's needs, you absolutely can not go wrong with Bragg and Associates.

I had a horrible experience renting for 2 years from this company. I was accused of not answering…read morecalls from a 3rd party company, Smith Concierge, contracted not only to do maintence inspections, but to do all repairs. These people were never calling me the first time, let alone, contacting me back. I was forced to allow grown men into my home, when I live alone, every 90 days to go through my entire apartment under the guise of helping me by changing the air filter and smoke detector batteries. Something any adult is perfectly capable of doing themselves unless elderly or disabled. I was made to pay an additional $25 per month for an air filter and cheap amazon batteries in my smoke detector (that didn't last 90 days) was a hidden fee to charge me a maintence fee to be used for any future repairs. There is an every 90 day inspection too. This applies to everyone. I consider this extreme! Legal?. Yes, but extreme considering nobody does this unless a prior inspection caused concern and so it was warranted. I lived here for several years under REMAX management prior to them taking over. I always took care of the property. REMAX did not do this. Those inspections were a complete violation of privacy, and a huge inconvenience to those of us that work normal business hours. Dealing with Bridges was like dealing with a government entity or something. You were talked down to, fear mongered, and harassed on a numerous things. Gaslighting tenants, especially future property owners, is not a smart thing to do when running a property management company. I will never rent a property under a Bridges contract again, and I will recommend my friends and colleagues don't ether. I will also recommend those I know who own rental properties not use them either. I was born and raised in this town, and this was the worst experience of my life in a rental in 47 years. I have both owned and rented. This is something Bridges employees should take into consideration. Not all tenants are poor underprivileged children who can't afford to own their own home. Many are students, going through a life change, here temporarily on business, or just prefer less hassle in dealing with an owned property (as in my case).
