We have WAY MORE reviews then is highlighted by Yelp. This is what is so frustrating to business owners like myself. Yelp hides the majority of reviews, deeming them "not recommended." You have to scroll to the bottom of my page and there is a link in gray that you must click on that says "30 other reviews not currently recommended." When you click on it it only shows you two or three. You have to click on yet another link which says "Continue reading other reviews that are not currently recommended" to see the rest of them. In addition, often times a review is a recommended review, and then disappears to a non-recommended review. I believe that all of a businesses reviews, good, bad, and ugly, should be visible and easy to see. On 2016-12-07, on the 1st day of my new job, I got a red light ticket which I did not even deserve: Followed 4 cars in front of me and they all had yellow/red like me but cop stopped me (they're terrible and sneaky and harass us where I live on Staten Island NY because they get bonuses when they exceed their ticket quota). I hired Mike Palumbo, and upon his recommendation, I immediately took and passed the "ONLINE DEFENSIVE DRIVING COURSE" gave him the certificate of completion afterwards. Then he fought for me for 2 years. Then I got the email from his office today (2018-02-26); and I was sure I would be found guilty; have to pay north of $300 and have to incur the points as well BECAUSE THE JUDGE ON STATEN ISLAND NY HAS A 96% CONVICTION RATE AND FINDS YOU GUILTY EVEN THOUGH YOU SHOW HIM PICTURES AND EVIDENCE SO I KNEW I HAD NO CHANCE TO WIN WITH HIM JUDGING MY CASE. Additionally I am on a budget as I am the sole-wage-earner in my household and support 3 adults and a house; and in my I.T. business, all of our jobs have been illegally/criminally sent to India by greedy USA CEOs (due to Prez Clinton changing NAFTA Trade Laws back in 1992) & it takes 1+ yrs to even get a job interview; so I was worried how am I going to be able to afford $300+ for this ticket ? But to my surprise: I was found not guilty and the points were not added to my license. I almost had a heart attack. Finally I am vindicated as I was not even guilty anyway except for being relentlessly harassed by Staten Island NY cops for things we're not guilty of (and they don't want to even hear our story rather they only want to give us a ticket) because they're money-hungry. I was very concerned when I got a speeding ticket in the Bronx and learned the traffic court was not like my local municipality (out of state) where you could talk to the prosecutor and perhaps get a plea deal. I was facing 6 points and fines. I entered a not guilty plea and knew I would need to find an attorney. Looking online for an attorney is overwhelming and after reviewing several websites, I found none to be as comprehensive and full of reviews as Palumbo & Associates. I was impressed that Michael Palumbo responded to some of the reviews as well. WORST excuse for an attorney i have ever come across. he is currently running a scam where he offers services for ez pass resolutions for the authorities which to him simply means filing the same form we all can do ourselves and never following up on settlement, consistent with emails or even responsiveness. the authorities themselves have highlighted him in their systems (all 3) as a poor attorney to work with and several complaints on record for the same inconsistencies. when i first reached out to mike, he stated he did not work this area of law. without realizing i contacted him again two months later thinking he was a new attorney to inquire about my situation. he then responds it's 2.5k for his services which i paid i did not make the connection until my employer (also a lawyer) had to address him about his lack of due diligence. i have tried and tried to resolve but palumbo's idea of a business relationship is literal verbal abuse. to date my settlements are unresolved. save your time energy and money this man is a literal crook. i have reported him to the grievance committee of the 9th judicial district / nys bar association. he lies cheats and berates his clients when they don't agree. he's running to the computer as we speak to disparage himself.. 3..2..1... meanwhile i'm still cleaning up his mess years later! my review won't repost so new acct it is.. everyone should be warned about this guy and if you don't believe me read all his one star reviews. read more

Michael and his partners are AMAZING! In short, I received an urgent letter in the mail yesterday stating that I owed roughly $980.00 in unpaid tolls and I had additional violation fees for every single one that was late totaling $2400.00 on top of the $980.00 dollars that I originally owed! To say the least, I felt "Whacked" like Paul Castellano in front of Sparks Steakhouse circa 1985. I panicked and started doing some research online and came across Michael Palumbo's Youtube videos where he gives the public advice on what to do in different situations regarding traffic violations, toll violations, etc... I used this firm solely on the reviews I read on Google, Avvo & Yelp. I took my chance and it certainly worked out in my favor. I live in NYC (Queens) and received a speeding ticket, doing about 53 on a 25 at around 2:45AM. That was a 6 point ticket and in a jurisdiction like NYC, it is very hard to beat such ticket. I got this ticket in 2018 and it was rescheduled several times by the DMV as well as myself due to the pandemic. Finally, my hearing date came on 1/13/2022. At around midnight (the next day) I received a notice from Michael to confirm that this nightmare of a ticket was dismissed and found not guilty. One thing I can say about this firm, is that they are truly 24 hours. It doesn't matter what time I email him, I will get a response within the next 5-10 minutes, and that is amazing customer service in my opinion. I was very satisfied with the services provided by Mr. Palumbo to resolve my case with a plea from the charge of a 2-point unsafe starting to the reduced charge of a 0-point parking ticket. I consulted with Mr. Palumbo via email about my case after his services were recommended to me by a family member. I was driving in one lane using my gps for location assistance. I understood the gps direction but when I saw the highway sign it didn't seem to match the direction in the gps so I had a split second to decide whether to go left or right of a fork in the road. I then decided my direction which required me to cross the lane but the lane was the white section with lines painted across it. I looked to make sure there was enough distance between cars in order for me to safely pass as I usually do before crossing lanes. I saw there was enough space and safely crossed. Hired Mr Palumbo for my husband's speeder in Bronx. We live in Mattituck way out on the island. Didn't know who to call. Out of all the Attorneys I called. He is the only one to call back right away. He explained everything about the process. It's very hard to beat speeders in five boroughs. Tickets are handled very differently there as opposed to suburban courts were you may be able to plea bargain. Got a speeding ticket that was inflated and incorrect. Surfed the web for customer reviewed legal services that were well received, and landed on Avvo. The sheer number of positive reviews there led me to submit for a consultation and I was glad I did. Michael personally called me not 30 minutes after I submitted my information. All I had to do was send them my ticket, and the morning after the court date, I received an email from the lawyer who handle my case notifying me that my ticket was reduced. I really don't know how they do it. Every time I hire Palumbo & Associates to fight a moving violation, it gets dismissed. Over the years I've used them maybe a half dozen times. Mostly for myself, but a couple times for my kids. A violation has never once came back guilty. It's either totally dismissed or reduced to the equivalent of a parking ticket. How they make it happen, I'd rather not know. The important thing is that it works. Also my time is valuable and their service makes the process quick and painless. I e-mail them a photo of the ticket, send them their payment which is reasonable, and then forget about it. The speeding ticket was dismissed! My college-age daughter, who has a California Driver's License, got a very unfair ticket in Dutchess County -- they alleged that she was going 68 in a 55 mile zone. Which she was not! Because she holds a CA DL, she wouldn't have been able to do traffic school, so this ticket would've been a real, long term financial hardship.
