Brought this decorative ladder…read moreto the checkout price said $4.00 and cashier said this isn't a basket and after 10 minutes had it repriced at $6.00. I left it behind because who pays more than the listed price? On the way out another worker asked the problem and I explained and she went on and on about how it was not a basket and priced wrong. I am sure they don't have a selection for junk on their label maker. Went back the next day and all the woman kept saying is how it wasn't a basket and that guy was not a pricer. So why did he do the price adjustment? Wound up stating that I didn't even know who she was. I knew exactly who she was. That she was the one who wished me a great night laughing as I walked out the door last night. She had me on speaker with the boss the entire time. Just bringing up so many irrelevant things about Goodwill. As she checked me out she was being so snide. Making comments that her mother raised her right and that her work personality is different from her home personality and saying "Oh you don't know how to work your IPhone." She had brushed the button to accept the transaction. She eventually said that she hopes that I get everything I want today (snotty.) I told her that I admired her tenacity and that maybe she should become a lawyer or a doctor. Should have left some southern hospitality and said "Bless your heart."Wow all that for a throw away decoration!!!!! Can't say that I will be in there again anytime soon.

The family shelter does something that is very rare in that it keeps the whole family together. New Directions is compassionate and thorough it's an opportunity to change your trajectory to a positive path.

It's one large warehouse floor, with mostly neatly sorted clothes on hangers occupying the space. Each item was individually priced. Like the other Goodwills in the area, the sales floor was mostly women's clothes with some furniture, books, and toys in the back area. My wife did buy some more blouses to take back home.

I got a call from them three days before my payment was due and was told I had to pay it off right now or they would cancel the order and I would forfeit all money that I already paid. Then I was forced to pay 100 dollars for delivery and the delivery team was too lazy to put the items where I needed them and dropped them in my kitchen. This is what my wife did during our long stay, resulting in having to use one of our spare collapsible check-in bags to house the $68 of purchased product. Like the other Goodwills that we went to, the store is mostly clothes (very little furniture, videos, books). But the clothes that were sold, were in good condition and very well sorted. None of the clothing items were individually priced, instead needing a pricing guide (e.g. Women's blouses are all $4.19, Men's jeans $4.19). There were a TON of blue jeans available, along with a lot of women's blouses. One interesting thing to observe was that shopping carts (aka buggies) were in hot demand...there just wasn't enough. There was definite trading going on for the opportunity to get one, based on goodwill.

They take just about anything as well as household garbage. Besides the usual plastics, glass and cardboard, I can clean out my house (I'm a pack rat) and be conscientious about Mother Nature. Household electronics, batteries, used oil, bulk waste, tires can all be recycled here. They also collect used clothing (not sure who benefits from these donations). The center also has very convenient hours (see photo of times). The workers are helpful and friendly and help locate the proper receptacle to use. They also keep this center neat and clean. Overall, a household chore is made much easier due to this facility.
