The staff was friendly and genuinely helpful without being pushy -- exactly what you want when you're taking your time exploring a place like this. One thing I really appreciated was the clear pricing. Every item had visible pricing, and they even showed upcoming markdowns for the next few weeks, which made it fun to hunt for deals. They also have a dedicated sale area, which is always a win. I ended up leaving with some beautiful jewelry, antique oil and vinegar holders, a teapot, and even a picture -- and honestly, if I lived closer, I would've walked out with much more. This is absolutely a spot I would highly recommend to anyone visiting the area. It's the kind of place you want to take your time in, and I'll definitely be back the next time I'm in Myrtle Beach.

Had an opportunity to stop in at this Goodwill Thrift store in South Carolina, to get the first…read moresense of how the retail side of Goodwill operates in the South. The location had a clear preference for clothes, all individually priced and well organized (hung). The inside is one giant warehouse with tall ceilings and makeshift dressing rooms. Out of the three Goodwills that we stopped by during our trip, this location was the one my wife shopped in the longest. Because a lot of time was spent sorting and pricing the clothes, real bargains were rare with most clothes between $5 and $10 in price. There weren't really much non-clothes (furniture, books, music) in the store, which was the same at the other Goodwills in the area as well.
