Purchased several items for a project that was far from Lowes. Rented a trailer, picked everything…read moreup and drove it 7 hours. Should have opened every box before we left the store. The vanity top was cracked. Called the manufacturer and they would only replace the backsplash. Called Lowe's and it sounded like they were going to discount it so we could have it repaired locally (new counter cut) but now they want everything driven back. Closest location is 4 hours away (8 hours return trip and another trailer rental). Lesson learned? Make them open everything up and inspect it before loading it at the store. That way you know if it is damaged before you get it home and have to pack it up and figure out what to do with it. Tony in plumbing tried to help. Managers didn't return calls.
