Purchased several items for a project that was far from Lowes. Rented a trailer, picked everything up and drove it 7 hours. Should have opened every box before we left the store. The vanity top was cracked. Called the manufacturer and they would only replace the backsplash. Called Lowe's and it sounded like they were going to discount it so we could have it repaired locally (new counter cut) but now they want everything driven back. Closest location is 4 hours away (8 hours return trip and another trailer rental). Lesson learned? Make them open everything up and inspect it before loading it at the store. That way you know if it is damaged before you get it home and have to pack it up and figure out what to do with it. Tony in plumbing tried to help. Managers didn't return calls. read more

The young man that we stopped could not help us with our questions, he sent for some help......she was absolutely dumber than a box of rocks.....her name tag said plumbing, but she was a deer in headlights when it came to answering questions.....I guess so... was her standard answer. I was trying to take back some flooring I didnt use and they wouldnt take it back. It took over 30 days to get to me when I ordered it and so by the time I brought back the part I didnt need it was over 90 days. I wasn't told about the 90 days. I was told there may be a 20% restocking fee. I would have been more than happy to have to pay a 20% restocking fee. I would have been happy with in store credit!!! but they would return over 600 worth of flooring. I hate this store and will never go back. I work in customer service and know that exceptions can be made!! read more

VERY HELPFUL STAFF! This location is always clean and has a great selection, and an especially good garden selection. The staff here are very friendly and helpful, particularly the ones who work in specific departments. This location seems to keep a handful of really knowledgeable people employed here for a long time, they are so great to work with. I've shopped off and on at Lowe's for years. I love their merchandise and I've had great experiences and some good experiences. Our most recent purchase earns them and overall 5-star rating. After purchasing two G.E. (Junk) washer/dryer sets at Darrell's Appliance in less than four years and having nothing but horrible experiences with the buying, delivery, service call and you name it process. We were ready to start washing our clothes by hand in the toilet. Our toilets actually work and we felt our clothes would come out of our toilets cleaner. Well ... we decided, when our better judgement kicked in, to shop around. Lowe's has a wonderful selection of appliances at extremely reasonable prices and fantastic financing options. Additionally, they told us when they would deliver, they called the day of delivery and they showed up on time. This is a brand new experience for us after doing business the last four years with Darrell's who lie about everything and then just show up and bang on your door. And better yet, the appliances actually work! Now mind you we purchased a Maytag set this time. That may explain the quality of the product. But it doesn't account for the fantastic purchasing and delivery experience we had with our new Appliances from Lowe's. Thank you Lowe's. Not cool at all. I returned a tripod sprinkler that fell to pieces 5 days after I bought it. The lady helping me was plenty nice when her boss came storming over and told me, in an angry tone, that he "couldn't resell this". Well I hope not! It was in pieces! The lady working the desk (it was her first day there, she should be training her boss), calmly explained that it was broken and that I can, indeed, return it. So then I did. Bought a beautiful SAMSUNG Stove less than 3 years ago. Today is the second time the "Motherboard" failed. The first time it failed was 2 weeks after it was purchased. Samsung did pay for a new motherboard and service however the service company was out of Provo and we had to wait nearly a month because the service company didn't have any other business happening in Tremonton so we had to wait until THEY wanted to come. Bad deal all around. I'll never purchase another Samsung product again! This isn't Lowes fault but it is the product sold by Lowes. read more

I happen to live near this shop, so I decided to walk to it and take a look (no rush in life, right?) - I had a screenshot of everything on my phone that I wanted to buy (and they had aisle-bay numbers for each item). I walked out with none of those items. I walked up to an old fellow (his name is Bob... was Bob?) and asked him to help me identify where an item was (since I couldn't find it at Aisle 16, Bay 12). We walked there. He couldn't find it. And then he proceeded to lead me from bay-to-bay (as he peered intently at each item on the shelves)... why wouldn't you go get somebody more knowledgeable. Halfway through, another gentleman asked him a question, and Bob proceeded to waste my time as he ineffectually tried to help this other customer find an "Old ____" (Electrical Box).... seriously?! We then walked bay-to-bay, aisle-to-aisle (no idea how to politely decline what he imagines is helping a customer out). About 20-25 minutes later, he turns to me and is like "sorry, I just don't know where it is." ... yay. I'm not sure Bob should've been hired, and he definitely should not be kept on if he is incapable of helping or finding help. I went up to another associate (who was gossiping with a coworker about his dysfunctional relationship - he didn't seem too happy that I interrupted) and asked where I could find a similar item (I'd given up on finding the original item) - he pointed, I found it - I asked him a few questions about a similar item, which he curtly responded that he knew nothing about and that I needed to talk to that department, and pointed (and without waiting for me, turned back to his gossip). Wonderful customer service. So, I walked over to the next department, and finally found a competent and friendly customer service representative. He walked me around to where the item was supposed to be (surprise, not there) - took a few minutes scanning the upper shelves, and apologized that the system was wrong and/or restocking had messed it up. 1/3 Associates is pretty bad training. A warehouse that doesn't have inventory or location is pretty bad too. A business that runs on maintaining inventory and helping customers find said inventory and is not able to do so -- not a business that should stay in business. read more

After being on hold for several minutes i was automatically transfered back to the main desk. She asked what department I was holding for. Terrible customer service. I would not do business with Lowe's and especially this location. I was told I could have flooring delivered to SLC when I placed my order as it was the only location that had the flooring I wanted in stock. I paid the delivery fee. I get a voicemail from the shipping department and they said their truck was broken down. I called them back and said that's fine I didn't need the flooring for a few weeks anyway. They then call me back and said they will be unable to deliver my floor for no reason at all. I would have been okay if they would have told me this up front and instead lying about their truck being down because they didn't want to deliver my order. They cancelled my order without asking me or offering any solution. Don't do business with this company if you need anything delivered!!! read more

Man I wish I had seen these reviews before we purchased the washer and dryer here. We originally went to Home Depot. Great service but they had the same washer and dryer on back order. We bought the washer and dryer and was told it would be here the following Monday. About 6pm that night and still nothing I give them a call. They can't find my name or address in the system. Then when they finally found it he said "oh looks like it didn't get dropped off." Amazing the kind of assessment skills he possessed. After which he said "all my delivery men have gone home, when would you like it delivered next." Uh how about tomorrow morning since you failed today? I recommend never buy anything here that's set for delivery. Customer service also is piss poor. *Update so they call today and now say they can't install it anymore until maybe Thursday. Lies lies and more lies. What a terrible business. Again never buy from them and expect them to deliver. I already paid for this washer and dyer and now it's not coming to who knows when. **update Thursday 3pm they finally delivered. The delivery guys were awesome and very nice. Best thing about this store is the fact that you will be the only one shopping here. In and out, unless you need help. The app usually saves the day for me when I can't find something. I give Lowes two stars for not allowing me to leave the store through the returns door. I realize it's for theft protection, but it's so annoying. HD doesn't restrict the flow. Likewise, you can't enter Lowe's through the center door unless you sneak in when someone leaves. How annoying. Let me go in and out of the store at any entrance/exit. read more

So rude. I came in one day to do some painting. First the paint desk look like a bomb when off. The guy I think his name was Cory that helped me was very rude and unprofessional. I ask for two cans of paint. Both the same color. When I got home one was a bit off, so I took it back to see if they could fix it. The same guy helped me and told me that they can not exchange paint. I ask for them to change the tint so that it would be lighter to match the other paint. They said NO. I was very upset by the way they treated me and that they would not help me with my paint after they messed up! read more
