The shisha is too expensive and tasted never good. I was a few times here. Every time it was too hot and the taste was never that what I wanted. The restaurant is not that large the downstairs of it has perhaps six or seven tables and maybe that many in the upstairs floor as well. It's a slightly treacherous climb to the bathrooms on the second floor. The bar is in the basement complete with total darkness, disco lights, a DJ, and drink specials. My kids went down there and had a drink and hung out and thought it was pretty cool until of course I showed up . They have a bunch of pseudo-American drinks on their drink menu like Miami Vice, sex on the beach ETC but they were not made the same way as they would make them in the United States. Back to the food. I was starving and there were six of us so we ordered a lot of stuff. The portion sizes were adequate not huge but not tiny either, pretty typical for European portion sizes. The food came out after not too long of a wait because of course we were the only people there however, it was all freshly prepared and looked beautiful. The waiter who was apparently the night manager and who comported himself as if he was the owner, which is a good thing not a bad thing, he clearly takes a personal interest in making everything perfect, and he was just wonderful. He was Indian I believe but he spoke German and English pretty perfectly. As people came and went going to the bar I heard him speak several other languages as well. Wow. In the kitchen he was speaking what sounded like Hindi. The tables are average to small size but adequate and the inside while it was very dim because it was dark outside and they have this huge TV where everybody was watching soccer, so everything worked out fine. As a bonus the man was familiar with gluten-free cooking and was happy to make suggestions for us I would definitely come back there again, I was tempted to come back for lunch the next day but I got vetoed by the family Who wanted to try out something new.
