This was my first experience with Massage Envy. Having had quite a few massages at other places,…read moreI am pleased with my experience here. Corey was my therapist and I couldn't be happier with his work. He was very professional and skilled at his job. I came in with an incredibly tight upper back and neck and left feeling much better. He was able to find all the trouble spots and use the appropriate level of pressure and massage to give me the relief I was looking for. I will request him again and would recommend him to others! The spa itself was very clean and the environment very relaxing, with soft therapy music. I especially appreciate that they don't have a lot of fragrances throughout the spa, though you can request aroma therapy if you'd like. It was a nice change from places that are heavily scented with room fresheners. I also felt the cost was reasonable, and similar to prices for other massages I have had, (except for a ship board massage which is always expensive.) So, overall, while I was skeptical of a franchised spa, I was pleasantly surprised and pleased with my first experience here. Thank you Corey and team!

I went here to treat myself for my birthday in November'25. I was so excited to go. The experience…read morewas do disappointing and I felt cheated when I left. That massage was my birthday gift of self love to me, something I needed. I didn't expect a mediocre massage that I would not consider deep tissue. My problem areas were not addressed. I tipped bc I didn't want to be rude, but I felt sad, cheated, and ripped off. I don't treat myself often. What a waste of child free time and hard earned money on my birthday!

Never have I ever gotten an A.I. massage. But if I wanted to, The Spa at Union Club Hotel offers…read morethis type of service. It's called Aescape, and apparently, it's the first A.I. massage offered in Indiana. I think that's pretty neat! I'm a traditional massage lady, though. I like the feel of human hands on my skin, so I booked a 50-minute relaxation massage. My massage therapist was very thorough about explaining what she would be doing and why, and also asked me if there was anything that I wanted her to focus on. I just gestured all around my body and said, "Just hit it all. No holds barred," or something like that. I'm a veteran massage-getter, so timidity is not something I deal with in a massage studio. I'm usually like, "Do your thang, girl/guy." My therapist did her thing, and it was a lot more gentle than I'm used to. That might have been her style, or maybe I should have communicated that she could go harder, but it was super gentle, like she was applying lotion on me. I'm a believer that every massage is a good massage (you're getting touched!), so even though it wasn't great, it was still good. They have some nice amenities here, like a relaxing waiting room with red-light masks, snack, drinks and things to read. There is also a steam room that you can visit, if you want. It's a small spa, but it's impeccable and has the kind of services that you would expect from a modern spa.

At the hotel lobby elevator, make sure you press 2 on "Union building" and not the "Union Hotel", and then follow the signs. You get slippers and robe and the best part is, there are no restrictions as to how much clothing you would like to keep throughout the spa. The waiting room is cozy, relaxing and has LED masks to use while you wait with light snacks and drinks. The facial was very relaxing, they let you choose your aromas. The sauna is great, but only has space for 2 people, it has temp and variety of LED options. Overall I really enjoyed my experience!
