Terrible Customer Service & Unsanitary Practices I've never had a worse experience at a tanning salon. Kaylee and McKenna were incredibly rude and unwelcoming from the start. I've been going here for years & two days ago I lost a sentimental necklace there, and instead of offering any help, they simply told me, "We don't know what to tell you." To make matters worse, they blatantly admitted that they don't thoroughly check the rooms after each customer, which is not only unhelpful but also completely unsanitary. It's clear that customer service is not a priority here, and the lack of cleanliness is concerning. I won't be returning, and I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone. I just wanted to say my experience at Palm Beach Tan has always been amazing! I've been tanning with Palm Beach for years and it's the best place I've ever tanned at. This location is my favorite by far.. the beds are the best , everything is always clean and kept up. the staff has always been soo friendly and helpful with me with anything I've ever needed or questions I've ever asked before. DO NOT GO HERE. Worst costumer service experience in my life. I've contacted corporate and have discussed the upcoming steps in regard to their assistant manager. She raised her voice. Screamed like she was in horror movie. Scared other patrons. Started hyperventilating and screamed again. She's crazy. If you cannot have a normal conversation about an issue with a assistant manager in regard to an issue without her talking over you the entire time and then hyperventilating and screaming, she probably should not be in a customer service role. Never have experienced anything like this. I was just trying to have a normal discussion on why I she wasn't letting me tan the full time, I have a membership and tan and spray tan all the time. Beware of this location. Listen to the other reviews. I believe her name is Anatai (unless she gave me a false name). I was honestly terrified and am debating reporting this to the better business bureau, as I see this isn't an uncommon issue with this location. I didn't feel safe by her behavior especially the outrageous way she was hyperventilating and screaming, I truly thought she was going to try to hurt me and had lost her mind. I was a member at the Coronado location in Henderson, Nevada. I would say run, run away from here. The staff, including the manager are very rude. They will outright lie to your face, and then pretend it wasn't them. I am still looking for another place to (spray) tan, but for sure this company will not be it. I had to finish this last month of at a different location 25 minutes from my house to avoid the one that was literally 5 minutes away. My advice is to go somewhere where they don't lie, are nice to you and keep the place clean. If they are willing to use this behavior with me (I don't raise my voice or use any kind of language that would be inappropriate for a kindergartner) they will do it to you too. read more

I would give this tanning salon a solid 3 stars and here is why: Pros -memberships are fairly priced -sanitation is great (beds are always clean) -SOME of the ladies are customer friendly - spray tan is INCLUDED in my membership -lots of locations in most states Cons; -no mirrors in the rooms so you can apply you're lotion without getting it everywhere ): -some of the employees are not that friendly -tanning beds are average compared to others in the areas. I've been a Palm Beach Tanner for years now. I literally live between the halfway point from this location and the one on Rainbow. I used to frequent Rainbow more but that may change. I wouldn't even consider to make the drive down here if it wasn't for Adam. Adam, the store manager, is such a great help. He is very knowledgeable with the different types of bed and spray tans offered here. Great customer service....always super friendly and professional whenever I walk in. He even gave me a full tour and explained in detailed of each tanning bed (ie. levels, special functions, maximum time, red light therapy) They offer an extensive selections of tanning lotions as well. In my opinion, they have one of the better tanning beds here. Much bigger selection plus they're more up to date. Plenty to choose from no matter what your level of tanning membership is...so you won't be waiting around for a bed to free up. They have Versa Spa, VersaPro and Mystic Tan as options for your spray tan. read more

Heather was extremely rude, condescending, and just very bad overall customer service after not letting me tan for the full amount of time that I have been doing here for years. After asking to speak with her manager, she told me "do you think I'm going to give you her personal number?" and instead, gives me a 1-800 corporate number. She first tells me I can tan 8 minutes, not the full 12 minutes, then when I asked her why, she says I can now only tan 6 minutes since I did not comply. This was shocking to say the least, I've been paying as a member here for years. I asked to cancel my membership immediately and her reply was "perfect." I absolutely love this place! I have a spray tan package and I tried something new with add ins. I'm obsessed!!!! Everyone is always super nice and happy. I love coming in! The spray booth is always warm and clean. The one and only time the booth was down, I was given a different spray booth to use and it was also fantastic! I was not charged the difference in price. I usually love this place and haven't had an issues, so that's why I'm giving some stars just for that. Today I went in to update my card and to get a tan. The reason I was updating my card in the first place was because I had fraud on it and I quite LITERALLY just got the new card in the mail today. I update the card and the girl says it's almost $30 when normally my membership charge is $14 a month. I asked why and she said due to a "bank rejection charge fee." This is the dumbest thing I have ever heard. I get fraud on my card and update it as soon as possible just to get charged even more. I am honestly disappointed and won't be returning. I was never even made aware of this stupid charge, but the girl didn't seem to care ab that or that my card had fraud. read more

Great beds! They have a pretty good unlimited monthly membership. $89.99 for all beds and spray tanning. If you tan in the beds and spray, this is a great price! The normal price is $109 but they usually have a special bringing it down to $89. They charge a $20 start up fee now. They never used to make people pay it in the past but it seems like their rules are more strict. You can only tan once every 24 hours in the beds but you can spray as much as you want. This is important to know because not all salons go by the exact 24 hour period, most let you tan once a day regardless of what time it is. Sadly, the friendliness of employees is still a hit or miss! Sometimes you will have the nicest girls working the front and other times, not so much. They stay open late and it's not a bad price for unlimited tanning, that's why I continue to go here. read more

I have been here many times! It is great for the person or business man or women on the go and don't have the time to lay at the pool! Owning my own tanning salon in my gyms previously, I do understand the business! Great location, salon is very clean, never had a dirty bed, and bulbs are always hot! Very state-of-the art beds and awesome brand! The staff is always professional, nice, and helpful! I was looking for a tanning salon that was close to my new place & this one was recommended by a friend who actually lives more towards North LV. Let me start off by saying that she said her tan was only $15 (mine was closer to $50). I go in around the early afternoon and let the receptionists know that it's my first time EVER getting a spray tan so I don't know how to ask for what I want, I just show her a picture I edited of me. Shes extremely friendly & swatches me then asks about all these other services in which I decline. After she rang me up, her mood completely changed like her job was done and no longer needed to be friendly. Then sends me on my way with a very young and very pale chick who walked me into the room and instructed me on the process. She went through it fairly quickly and was nice about it so that's the only reason why I'm giving 2 stars, but other than that I was left on my own to figure out how to put my clothes back on and no further instructions on after care. Even as I leave I wasn't asked how it went, if I'd like to come back, or even given any acknowledgement that I was leaving. I didn't shower til the next morning and when I wake up I'm patchy all over! And even though my face came out ridiculously dark after tanning, I was pale again! This left such a bad impression on spray tanning for me & I think I'll just go back to using tanning wipes from Ulta because they're actually worth my money. read more

Well, with the summers here in Vegas, I put my account on hold (freeze). Today I went in to take the account off hold (unfreeze). First, she tried to charge me for another month when I still had an account credit. She finally corrected that (with attitude) and then (again with attitude) told me I could only tan for 6 minutes. Why? She said she did not want to burn me...lol. I just spent 2 months at the pools and golf course daily. I am far more tan than anyone in there. All over!! But her condescending attitude got the best of me and I cancelled. Then, She TOLD me to sign and then she said" THERE'S THE DOOR HAVE A GOOD DAY"!! For every action there is a reaction and Yes I told her what a condescending little ***** *** **. As I was exiting the door she again said "HAVE A GOOD DAY". Attitudes like this in today's climate or any other time are just not expectable in the customer service industry or any other industry for that matter. I love PBT so much! I've been tanning with you guys since 2015. Adam is a big reason why I love to come tan (besides the amazing results I get), which is why I followed him from the South Rainbow location to this specific location. Both store's have great staff and awesome equipment, but Adam always brightens up my day, so when I heard he was being moved I was sad at first. I still frequent the South Rainbow location since it's down the street from me, but I will always make the trip to see Adam. He's one of the hardest workers I've seen at PBT since I've been tanning here, besides the previous manager Avy. She's amazing too and I'm sad I don't see her as often either. Kudos to Adam! This place is by far the cleanest tanning facility around Henderson and has the most knowledgeable staff that is so friendly and always remembers my name and my preference for beds and time. I use to tan with body heat tanning, after a very bad situation with them I cut tanning out for a while. I decided to look elsewhere for myself and a couple of friends for our upcoming trip. I cant remember thee exact date, but it was a couple of days ago. It was late at night and they were still open!! Thankfully!!!! I was immediately greeted by a very sweet girl, emily was more then helpful. I would say customer service is the reason why I will be referring friends here besides them having have an immaculate entrance and the variety of goodies up front! I go to the Palm Beach Tan on Wigwam and Pecos only. The location is clean and the girls are friendly. The manager, though, Denise (I think) is AWFUL. She will lie through her teeth to sell you a product and will get all snippy with you if you don't want to buy anything. It's extremely annoying and I actually almost stopped going completely because I hated having to deal with her. But that's just one person.. everyone else is very nice and helpful. The only other problem I've had is their Mystic Tan machine seems to be consistently broken. I can't even count how many times I've driven all the way down there to be told I needed to go to another location because the machine is broken. And a lot of times when it's working it gets stuck and sprays unevenly. But if you don't Mystic Tan and don't mind pushy managers.. Palm Beach Tan is a great place with competitive prices. read more

So I had a coupon for a free Mystic Tan..off I go to use it before it expired. I have done the Mystic before just not here. Thankfully they did not try to hard sell me on a package. The girl was really friendly who helped me. But I had a bit of a wait so by the time I was called the girl who was helping me was gone. So I go back with the replacement sales girl & she explains the process. She tells me not to wear the booties on my feet since they will leave a ring around them. So I dont & guess what? I end up with crazy dark feet underneath. It looks horrible. I scrubbed and scrubbed but that didnt do much to fade them. I had to give myself a pedicure to try and remove the freakish color. There is still a trace of color but I did my best. I wont be going back there again thats for sure..even for another freebie. read more

I read the reviews here before I decided to join in march 2016. When I first went in to check it out, Noelle was the one that showed me around and explained how the membership worked. I remember they seemed busy but she took the time to answer all my questions. I was hesitant about this place since the review rating on here was bad, but it was super close to my house so I went back a week later and joined- Also because Noelle gave me a good impression of the place. Since March of 2016, ive never had any issues. I even froze my account for two months - never had any billing/money issues at all. There was a time I wasn't happy with the lotion I bought- two days later, Noelle asked me how I liked the lotion I bought. I told her the truth that I wasn't happy with the lotion. I didn't even ask her for anything, but she let me exchange it with a better lotion. The staff members always greet me when I walk in and out the door. Most of the time they're good at helping me out right away as soon as I walk in. The place always seem clean. Never had any issues with cleanliness. There was a time when there was a confusion when I was suppose to get my 6months reward. Guess it didn't show up in the computer or something. But noelle left a comment on my account for me, and next month when I was suppose to get the reward, the district manager also helped me out and let me use the reward. Didn't have any issues at all. The district manager was also nice. Not sure what his name is. I read some reviews on here. Seems like some people get upset how the staff members always try to sell them lotions. Well at least they make it super simple and ask "do you need any new lotions?" . They never sound like a car salesman lol. They're a business and need to make money. Of course they're gonna try and sell some stuff to you lol. Just say no and move on. I also noticed most upset people on here are spray tanners? I don't spray tan, I use their beds. This is honestly one of my favorite locations so I don't understand the bad rating. The staff is always super helpful and professional. I love the Catalina spray tan and it always develops perfectly. I've been with Palm Beach Tan for a little while now and I have to say it is one of the BEST tanning salons I have ever been to. I always get in and out quickly and the rooms/machines are in great condition. Noel is by far my favorite!! She is very tan savvy and helped me tremendously when I first started. She helped me slowly develop a very vibrant and natural looking color. I was a customer here for almost 2 years, just cancelled. Quit tanning because cancer is expensive and and I want to avoid looking like Leatherface. Also because this place offers nothing to reinforce customer loyalty (what happened to the specials?) and I realized I was wasting my money. WTF is with the start up and upgrade fees? How are these fees justified, or what do they fund? Just an excuse to make an extra buck. When I complained about the fees the girls never offered to waive or discount them, I guess maybe you gotta be in with those chicks to get that kind of deal. The fees prohibited me from upgrading numerous times because I couldn't justify giving them more of my cash for nothing. The audio system in the level one rooms has been broken for over six months, and that's a real conservative estimate. Also, the buttons to call for assistance have been out of order since forever as well. Why was I paying full price when all the expected amenities were not available? It couldn't have been that expensive to fix, and the customers should have received a small discount (3%? idk ANYTHING) or compensation for the inconvenience. Because that's what a business should do when they're not meeting expected service standards. BS, man. Also, I notice this place has a fast turn over for the staff. There's always a new, fresh out of high school receptionist eager to push some over priced J WOW "skin care" products, babbling about the pseudoscience behind kelp, or whatever the hot new anti-aging ingredient of the month is. I feel bad because I'm sure they are expected to meet a sales quota, but who wants to drop $60+ on a product you can get on Amazon for half the price or less? By far the worst customer service, ever!! The girls were really rude and a couple of them just stared at me as I walked out or in, no smile no nothing, just plain rude. This is a bummer cuz I've been with Palm beach tan for well over 3 years, but this location needs new employees. I used to come here last summer and the girls were very nice and sweet and now that I've cone back this summer to tan, it's a whole new set of girls with stick up their butts attitudes. As I walked out I could hear them whispering under their breath, after my month is up I'm canceling my membership all together! One thing I can say good about this location is the cleanliness, very nice and clean! So after further investigation, it was indeed the manager Noel that gave horrible customer service and the girls I had seen previously merry on their own and were actually really nice and helpful. I don't understand how a person so rude like Noel could be managing this place, maybe she makes the company money, but I try my hardest to avoid going on her shift times. She looked at me really dumb and talked down on me like I was dumb when I was asking questions. It's hard to believe that palm beach tan would allow such a mean person to manage a team people. I asked several questions and each question I asked she made me feel more and more insecure about my questions and I apologized several times about my questions and she still seemed irritated by me. I will not be bringing my loyal business here any longer, until she is gone or trained better on giving good or at least half decent customer service!!! All the other enployees have actually treated me really nice and I appreciate that. What a complete scam! I have never been in such an establishment that treats people and THEIR MONEY with such disregard. I have been going there for years and today was the last straw! Keep your tans and shove it where the sun does not shine! The front desk people never have an accurate account of my tans and they always seem to be expired! The last time I bought spray tans the first one was awesome...then I go back and a say I want the same exact color as last time. The girl assured me it was the same thing...even though she "uh.. ummm" her way through the check in. No way!! I looked like I was orange and then as it faded I looked like I had some skin disease because it was so much darker than my color. I should have guessed it from her tan mom look. What BS! This is probably the worst tanning establishment in the Valley. I am a huge fan of Palm Beach but out of all the locations, this by far is the worst. The staff drowns you in sale pitch after sale pitch on their lotions. This happens every single time I walk though their door. I thought Body Heat was bad. I don't feel like I need to be picked on as soon as I walk in through the door when all I wanna do is tan. And once you say no to what they're offering, the girls become stuck up or snooty just because you wouldn't by anything. Last month's payment was also charged twice!! I'm canceling my membership.
