She gave me her card, took time to show me photos of her work, and talked about my hair color with me and how she would personally do it if I were her client. She was warm and welcoming! I called and made an appointment. At my appointment I had the most wonderful experience in a salon, I've ever had. April was friendly and talkative. She told me about her team bonding event she was taking her stylist to the following day. As a blonde with long hair I have paid outrageous prices for my salon treatments before. I left UpDo Down with an all over highlight, toner, wash, cut, blow dry, and style at $205 before tip, the cheapest I've ever walked out with! My hair was amazing! She matched my lightener perfectly, framed my face with layers, and did amazing beach wave curls. Salon was clean, sleek, and trendy. Parking is behind the building. April and the entire team take pride in the salon, their work, and customer service!

A good business woman would probably have offered me "something" ie a discount on a service or product. Nothing, nada, not her problem. So I'm out a $100 gift card. Appreciate the professionalism.

Alysha was her name I believe and she was professional, friendly and very well trained. The rest of the salon seemed nice. It is a small building and a bit dated. The owner is in the process of trying to sell her business so it's a little disorganized. However, not thinking of all around me, the service I received from my stylist was great. Prices were reasonable for me but maybe pricey for the area. I'm from New England and was happy to pay $98 for everything that I had done. That might be a lot for Indiana but I was very pleased with how my hair and nails turned out.

But, there's a new girl, Jenny, and she is always so helpful and sweet. Without a doubt she will be the reason I continue to visit this Sally's. She has helped me find the right product several times and has shared her experiences and honesty with the products. Instead of trying to just push a product that she knows probably wouldn't work. I sense a new energy walking in there now. She's doing good things for the store. There's a couple new girls as well but I haven't interacted with them. This store has definitely changed in the past few months, in the best way possible.

Two employees Proceeded to laugh as I check out my items and inform me "I'd not use that, I've never even heard of this product" but offered no recommendation. I had to ask what they would recommend and was greeted with eyes rolls and attitude as they had to help me choose a more compatible product. Manager type employee who seemed to be training the young employee even called another customer a "B!***" as the customer walked out the door. Multiple bad experiences. Stay away unless you enjoy bad attitudes, rude comments and know exactly what you need.

It is located now at a very convenient location just off exit #58 of I-74 (Hwy IN-39). There is also more privacy with this new location as it is located in a house that is now all business, i.e. no one lives in the house. I have been seeing Caitlin for trigger point deep tissue massage therapy since February of 2021. My trigger points knot up constantly after working decades in the construction industry and from other body issues. I continue to work hard outdoors in property maintenance. I need monthly trigger point massage therapy to maintain muscle looseness. Not everyone can do deep tissue massage therapy. I have found someone that works for me and will work with me to keep my trigger points loose. Caitlin is very experienced with this type of massage therapy. Her experience allows her to keep these points worked out and from getting to the point where they will not relax. She can also find knotted trigger points that I'm not aware of. She keeps me in better fitness with her massage therapy.
