Palm Beach Home always surprises me with their amazing stock. It was established in 2005 as a resource for home wares and they specialise in Marrimeko, Missoni and Astier de Villate ceramics to name a few. We stopped in after a day at The Basin and I was surprised to see Carthusa perfumes for sale. I remember seeing these on Capri in Italy when my savvy and price conscious other half wanted a valid enough reason to buy it. My reason for purchase was argued with conviction. I'm going to buy it because it is not available anywhere else in the world. He remembers this well and points right at the row of boxes with a booming 'I knew we would see them in Australia'. I have actually seen them in a few places in Melbourne but hey who's keeping track. Palm Beach also stock Missoni as I swipe a handtowel for a birthday gift then I peer lovingly at a Cartell chair. Its black with yellow daisies and the signature cartel platform, it doesn't go with anything in our home but I love it. I hear 'I don't think so' which is met with a smile. One day he might come home and it will be there welcoming him. read more

Everything here would be perfect for my beach home in the Hill section close to the sand section in Manhattan Beach (working towards a "Strand" address...lol). Or, maybe it's easier just buy a house here in Palm Beach New South Wales....ha. After a great lunch at The Boat House by the water then took a stroll down to their home store was the best thing I did!! Awesome place to stop by if you are ever in the area!! The girls here were super nice. I even got a passion fruit popsicle on the side of the store that was yum yum!!
