From beginning to end, both my husband and I were impressed. With a pine tree next to our driveway (kissing on a nearby oak) that seemed to have a compromised base, I was anxious to have this tree removed prior to the TRUE onset of hurricane season. We also have quite a few other trees on our property that had become overgrown and were touching or impeding either our house or our neighbors' houses. I called Jose to request a quote, and within days he was here to give us a written estimate. His company is fully bonded and insured. We thought his estimate seemed very fair, but we had also scheduled to receive an estimate from our "usual" tree service, who came out the same day (after waiting nearly a week for a reply). Shade Tree's estimate was better - AND, he was able to come out the following week to complete the job (rather than waiting two weeks as our other estimate indicated we would need to wait in order for him to complete the job). Sure enough, Jose and his skilled crew were here EARLY on the day we scheduled. Perfect! They did a superior job of removing the compromised pine tree without harming the oak that was almost adjoining it. All other trees were trimmed beautifully, with the intent to assist nearby trees in their growth as well as make our home safe. Clean up was superb and communication throughout the entire morning's worth of work was outstanding. This is a local business, and I always want to support local entrepreneurs.
