The food at Pallas Athene was great. Returned for second time and despite a full house we waited until we got a table. Owner came to us (I didn't know who he was at that time) with an attitude, not so warm. After we finished, we got up and paid. Owner gave me a cold look as he returned my card (payment went through nothing wrong with that) But I left feeling unsatisfied. He was nice to the other customers (including my partner) except me. Not that I was a rude customer. I dropped a review on FB and then he apologized and explained that it was his first work day after a long break/holiday or something. I don't know if he was genuinely sorry or if he was sorry because of that review on his restaurant. But whatever that he was going through was not my business and he should not "let it out" on his customers. I don't know if he was also playing the "discrimination" card as I was the only Asian customer at that time. Could have been his regular customer but it only took one bad encounter to stop us from coming again in the future. Many Greek restaurants out there to try. My advice to owner don't be complacent and proud because you're doing well now. read more
