Also, everyone is usually very friendly at this establishment. That being said the bakery still does not slice French bread or everything Italian bread. You have to go to the other Walmart to get it. The deli is good and the people behind the counter are very helpful. I can get most of my basic grocery, pharmacy, and holiday needs here at a good price. But, it doesn't replace my frequent City Market trips. I think I mainly use this for brand name products that my mother in law requires - I can get them at significant savings here. And - she loves the little cakes and pastries from the deli/bakery. I am glad to have them in the neighborhood!

Walgreen park avenue, grand junction…read more There is little resolution in writing a review. Nothing changes. But I will write this for my own satisfaction. I started using the pharmacy from Walgreens on Park avenue when my daughter worked there. It was 7 years ago. I get one script filled there, all my other scripts are sent somewhere else. They are the worst. They have closed for days at a time with little warning in the middle of my script being filled because they did not have a pharmacist. They have changed their hours without warning, sometimes being closed on the weekends. The list goes on. My doctor writes my medication so that I have a large bottle that lasts 3 months and costs about 55 dollars. When I went to get my refill today the price was 133 dollars. I tried to haggle with them but they said that was the price. When they handed me my script there were 10 little bottles in the bag, that cost WAY more. They never informed me they were making a change. I don't know how they can do this. It is not what my doctor wrote as the script. I will have to jump through some hoops with my doc to get my scripts sent somewhere else. If I have my way I will NEVER use this horrible place again. My daughter said it was the most dysfunctional place she ever worked

When I call regarding my medication and ask when it will be available, all I get is attitude from them. I have stopped receiving my medication from this pharmacy because I can't depend on them to have my medication ready when they say it's gonna be ready. My medication is a monthly medication and One would think they could look ahead at my medication and have it ready. If you depend on your medication monthly this pharmacy is not one that you can depend on.
