Walgreen park avenue, grand junction…read more There is little resolution in writing a review. Nothing changes. But I will write this for my own satisfaction. I started using the pharmacy from Walgreens on Park avenue when my daughter worked there. It was 7 years ago. I get one script filled there, all my other scripts are sent somewhere else. They are the worst. They have closed for days at a time with little warning in the middle of my script being filled because they did not have a pharmacist. They have changed their hours without warning, sometimes being closed on the weekends. The list goes on. My doctor writes my medication so that I have a large bottle that lasts 3 months and costs about 55 dollars. When I went to get my refill today the price was 133 dollars. I tried to haggle with them but they said that was the price. When they handed me my script there were 10 little bottles in the bag, that cost WAY more. They never informed me they were making a change. I don't know how they can do this. It is not what my doctor wrote as the script. I will have to jump through some hoops with my doc to get my scripts sent somewhere else. If I have my way I will NEVER use this horrible place again. My daughter said it was the most dysfunctional place she ever worked

I always have an issue with their website. I specifically ask for In-Store items on their site and…read moreall I get are online items that have to be delivered instead! I don't order online anymore due to the fact that if something goes wrong during the warranty period, there is nowhere you can bring them to be repaired!

What a horrible experience…read more I ordered mounted prints with the promise of "same day pickup," but got a call from Walmart staff saying they didn't have the supplies and the timeline would change to 2+ weeks. I was told another Walmart in Grand Junction could process my order--but to do that, I had to call the national number, cancel my original order, and place a new one from scratch. So I did exactly that. An hour later, I got an email saying my order was ready. On my way to pick it up, I received a call from that second Walmart letting me know they also didn't have the supplies to fulfill my order. Again, I was told I'd have to call the national number to cancel. I spent 15 minutes on the phone while the call center tried to cancel an order that the local store had already canceled (because they sold services they couldn't fulfill). Then I spent another 20 minutes explaining the situation and still trying to process a cancellation for an order that didn't actually exist anymore. What a nightmare. Never, ever order photo prints from Walmart. This was a complete waste of time, and they clearly don't have a reliable system in place. Find a legitimate vendor instead.

My husband and I are traveling in Grand Lake and we accidentally left some of my husband's heart…read moremedication back at home in Wisconsin, needing 5 tablets to get us home. I contacted the pharmacy and had a prescription transferred there; was told the medication would be ready in an hour. We presented to the pharmacy 2hrs later and were told there were problems with the prescription and they hadnt received a proper transfer. At this point my husbands heart rate was 110 and climbing and not once did either employee ask us how we were doing or what the nature of our needs were. I contacted my pharmacy again and had the pharmacist personally speak with the pharmacist on duty which finally got the needed medications. At pick up, I asked the pharmacist if in an emergency where my pharmacy was closed and my husband needed heart medication, if they would be able to help and they told me something to the degree that only pharmacies on the front range are allowed to do that. They said there were processes they had to go through and as a pharmacy owner, I could not provide a prescription transfer if I was not standing in my pharmacy. As a pharmacist, I am truly sad at the lack of empathy in this situation and will be utilizing services elsewhere in the future. I would expect my team back home to utilize Wisconsin's emergency filling allowance, ask to review the patient's my chart if a pharmacy or prescription bottle wasnt available, or ask to reach out to their provider to ensure necessary medications are received in a timely fashion.
