We unfortunately booked a "luxury" villa with this company in Sicily. The villa proofed to be no…read moreluxury at all. Jacuzzi broken, air condition worked only partially, 3 out 4 fitness equipments didnot work, bed of cheapest ikea quality, cleaning service inacceptable and on average only 2 instead of 4 booked and paid hours, window blinds didnot close, generally no luxury at all. Customer Relations didnot fix any of the issues although we reported them frequently and not show up at the villa once. We had prepaid the villa and I demanded a refund for the quality issues. The company offered us a 15% discount on the next booking. After we sent a letter again requesting a refund by our lawyer the company denied everything and raised that we had actually broken the whirlpool and caused a damage of 9.000 Euros. And they refered to a clause to their General Terms and Conditions for Bookings on their website (which was not there at the time of the booking) in which they state that you can sue them in Palermo only.

Booked for a conference and stayed 5 night - think it was about 80 euro a night which included a buffet breakfast (mostly pastries). I told staff I was gluten free and they got me bread and crisp breads for breakfast :-) Bar isn't always open but you will be able to buy water and there is also a water cooler. Room was comfortable - decent bed, small bathroom. Shower worked great. Hairdryer is 'unusual' so if that is an essential thing then bring your own. Safe for 10 euro deposit. Maid service daily and lovely terrace with good amount of seating. Surrounding area is fairly quiet but some local bars put on live music and if its a clear night it can be loud. I did sleep through it but might be worth bringing ear plugs if you are a light sleeper. Great location and would stay here again.

The interior design is elegant and the beds were very comfy. I have a sweet tooth and REALLY loved the breakfast - don't expect lots of "European" brekkie choice with cheese and meat but rather a generous Italian style: several choices of bisquits in all sizes to dip into your hot morning drink, very good croissants/brioches filled with sweet things and some amazing Sicilian pastry with the lovely, omnipresent sweet cream cheese (ricotta filling).

We wandered for a while and found plenty of great photo spots. Entry is paid, but worth it. Definitely a must-see when in Palermo. Saluti!
