My favorite part of the fair for 20+years. The best fish tacos ever. I missed them so much last year.

They have vegan and gluten free options too, which are almost impossible to find at the fair!

We have been missing La Pinsa Mia that last few weeks. We will order online so we can take some back to Tahoe. The vendor I want to call out is the food one for East African cuisine. There are numerous produce vendors, food vendors, crafts vendors and prepared food vendors. There is usually some live music for entertainment you can listen to while partaking of some of the food vendor offerings. For me it's usually either something from Chez Cristophe or the East African Food vendor who sells saffron chicken and sombusas. Parking - it's usually not too hard to find parking on the street... if nothing is available right nearby there usually is some parking up Rosa street. Bathrooms - if needed - are in the main office building. Just go through the main entrance glass doors and the hallway to the right leads right to them. Vibe is laid back and I haven't seen it too crowded all the times I've gone over the years.

1st Time at TinyFest…read more TinyFest was a good experience! If you've ever wondered how people can live in such small spaces (i.e vans, tents, shipping containers...) you'll definitely want to check out the festival. You get to see the size of different living units up close. Inside, they have sales of items that are useful for living minimally. Some of the units had an odd odor, which I found out later that the units on display are currently being lived in. The food was pricy, but expected. Overall, a good experience.

I've always been interested in having an Air bnb...and tiny homes seem like the perfect way to do so, affordably. I had no idea there were so many different types and options! Seems like most tiny home live on wheels so they aren't considered an actual ADU. Fascinating. There were many homes to see and tour. There was an indoor section of more homes and some van homes which were amazing. You could even rent the vans to go camping to see how you liked it. There were many other snack and art vendors inside but the focus really was the tiny homes and vans. Out back, when we went outside, there was another whole section of converted buses and more vans. There was some live music going, a kettle corn station, and even a bar. Overall a very fun event! It definitely has room to grow and could hold many more vendors but I was impressed by how many exhibits there were!
