Quality/Quantity - What a great find, and this review shows…read morethe positive power of Yelp. We discovered this local restaurant through Yelp, and so did the other 2 tables next to us. We found out at the end of our meal that one of the other tables was also from our hotel, a mile walk away. Overall, I think a simple menu done well. We got everything they recommended including the recommended beer from the table next to us. Plain Papadum & Chutney Tray - A must try! Suggestion, these two items should be together on your menu to avoid any confusion on pricing. The sauces also went well with our entree and naan. Tandoori Mix Grill - Good, perfect amount for both of us. As mentioned previously, we are light eaters, especially when traveling. This entree also came with a very light simple salad. Garlic Naan - I can eat this all day! This could even be my meal. After Dinner Chocolates - A nice unexpected touch. Atmosphere - Small local restaurant. Bathrooms need some TLC, but are functional. Indoor/outdoor dining; everyone ate indoors today. Open 7 days a week. Service - Good, had all 3 wait staff help us. This kind of confused us. They were good at upselling, but all 3 team members tried to upsell us. Not in a bad way, but it kept me laughing. I am a light eater, especially when traveling. They all made light small talk which was nice. It was obvious that everyone eating here was NOT local. They also have online promotions, see their website. Price - 28 pounds + tip. Owner Comment - Congrats on your success, I am so glad that you can benefit from Yelp. See you on our next visit as we were so happy with our hotel we plan to stay there again.

We had the puri with spice prawns, meat samosas and the lamb vindaloo. Each dish was great but the puri with spice prawns was the best. One small thing I didn't like the chutney plate which we did not touch (one of 4 they gave us) was taken from our table -we did not want it - and put on someone else's. Again we did not touch it, but. . . This is forgivable because it was so good.

Tired of…read more"croissants" and scones, after eating my fair-share of fish and chips with no seasoning, waiting for 1.5 hrs for fancy desi food that was served cutely but the spices were just off(wtf is blueberry kheer! Fusion is no always good.), after scouring Paris and finding that every time I ordered chicken it was boiled and sweet. I had finally thrown in the towel. My husband was adamant that we try Al-Hyderabadi. I reluctantly gave in. I'm so HAPPY I gave in. The food was fresh and the flavors were on point. Beware it is spicy so if you're with the kids or you just don't do too much spice ask them to tone it down. My husband was profusely sweating but also loving every morsel. The food was delicious and we scarfed down plate after plate. The damage done: only €30!!!! We ordered so much food and still only €30. That's how much we paid for 4 macarons, a cup of coffee and a scoop of ice cream in Paris or for 1/2 of 1 person for high tea in London. So this was a great deal for a meal for 4 people where we ordered at our hearts' content. Come here! Uber, walk, run! The biryani was delicious. Loved the accoutrements/raitas and mirchoun ka salan, the Karahi was delish and the meat was so fresh and tender. The chicken tikka was hit with the kids. They know how to do it right. The spiciest was the Chicken 65, but also my husband's favorite. Ask them to tone it one down but get it because the flavors are on point! After we went here our tastebuds thanked us and then started nagging for a regular normal cup of chai. So off to Southall we went!

GREAT Indian Restaurant at the Raddison Blu Edwardian at the Heathrow airport! Chances are, if you…read moreare at an airport hotel in London, you are probably wishing you could experience this town's incredible Indian food one more time before you leave. Most people search the Yelp reviews and walk to the best, close restaurant you can find. I recently stayed overnight at the Raddison by Heathrow. My wife and I were craving Indian badly. We were about to walk a mile to get to a restaurant I found on Yelp, when we noticed this new Indian place IN the hotel! The place was very modern and swanky. You can make a reservation right on the web site, or at the hotel. We showed up at 7:30 and didn't need a reservation. We were hoping for chicken tikka masala and palek paneer, but no such luck. So we set out to try some new stuff. After talking to the waiter, who was very cool and extremely helpful, we decided on some things he suggested that were VERY similar to what we were looking for. So, we decided on Lamb Rogan Josh(£12), Butter Chicken Masala (£11), Paneer Lababdar (£9) Plain naan (£2.50), and Steamed Basamati rice (2 orders £3 each). I had a bottle of Pale Ale, not sure what kind. My wife had a glass of Pino Grigio. Everything was incredible. The butter chicken masala was very similar, except maybe not as 'tomatoey' as traditional tikka masala. The lamb rogan josh was bursting with deep flavors and the lamb was a good cut of meat that was very tender. The paneer lababdar was a vegetarian dish with big chunks of paneer cheese and a really rich sauce. We ate until we were full and ate some more. Took a break and ate some more! Spent $114, but it was wort it. SOOO good. Can't wait to be back.

There was a two+ hours gap between the wedding ceremony and the reception and we decide to give Annayu a try. That was the best decision we had made. The staff was very pleasant and service was top notch. The ambiance of Annayu is trendy with a touch of formal. It was blended well. We had the Butter Chicken Masala, Chicken Poussin, Lamb Boti Kebab and Garlic Naan. The authentic tastes in these dishes just blew us away. Each dish was very delicious and perfectly prepared. The Chicken Poussin Tandoori was soft and spicy and just melted the tastes in my mouth. The Butter Chicken Masala had the perfect amount of creamy sauce preserving the tastes of Indian spices making it a perfect match for the Garlic Naan. We enjoyed this restaurant so much that we ate there twice in the same evening. Terrific experience!
