I thought the reservation process was easy, check-in was also a breeze…read more It is located next to a gas station and convenience store so very handy; has the kitchen area in the suite so you can hole up here for several days or even weeks I am sure. One knock is that they only have one elevator but we never seemed to have to wait long. Our room was second story right above the breakfast area. Breakfast has all the normal suspects with eggs (pretty decent), waffles, oatmeal and toppings, fruits, and a fruit juice station. As far as proximity it's not really close to any of the destinations we needed but rather was in the center. Within about a 5 mile perimeter (or slightly more on local airport side) we could get to the Performing Arts Center dance academy; pickleball courts; chain restaurants (Olive Garden, Blue goose, etc) as well as some local eating holes. We tried Mexican, sushi, and wing stop over the two night stay. I could imagine the pool is nice in the spring time. Wide open area. I would stay here again if you needed to be in Spring or Tomball area.....honestly outside of that probably not worth it. Two TVs in living area and bedroom. Upgraded feel in standing shower with sliding glass doors. I stayed on the pull out sofa. Probably only big enough for one comfortably, but maybe two kids. King size bed plenty big enough to fit two. We paid $118 a night.

Bed comfy, sheets good quality, shower was a treat. Breakfast had a large assortment of items to select from and well kept, tidy with coffee tasty! We would return recommend-

From there (3 hours later), received a ride from a school teacher who lived in Tomball. He was kind enough to drive us to the Americas Best Value Inn (a hotel I just booked via Orbitz). Upon arrival, wet and sleepless, I was greeted by a dry, shallow expression-faced individual behind the front counter. I told him I made a reservation via Orbitz and before he even checked his computer, he was driving his eyes outside to my girlfriend holding our little dog. He snapped that his hotel does not accept pets. An argument naturally proceeded... I find it hard to believe the types of people who emerge during such times of crisis. 5 star for the fire station and 1 star (zero if I could) for this horrible experience who calls itself a hotel.

With reasonable rates and an ideal (safe/family oriented) location, we thought we would give them a try while scouting the area for a home. When I initially called to book a reservation, they were all booked up (which I completely understand now having stayed there). So Tina took down my name and number just in case a room became available. To my surprise, she called me that same day with great news that a room just opened up; I was relieved (and thought she was very considerate). Because of our comfortable and safe location, we ended up staying for 5 weeks before we moved into our permanent residence. Everyday our room was fully serviced. The guests staying in the hotel were very respectful. Like us, they were business people staying for business purposes/for their work. Nights and weekends were reasonably quiet. Parking was safe and convenient. Guests respected each-others spot and cars. There are at least 3 gas stations in the general vicinity which rival the prices of inner Houston gas prices (down towards Louetta). This hotel actually saved us money by providing a hospital environment that felt like home. We had the option of eating out at the many restaurants/bars in the area or buy groceries to keep in the fridge and microwave our meals. Needless to say, we took advantage of eating in, however, had the option of dining out due to the plethora of restaurant choices. With a vending machine, ice machine, and laundry facility on site; this home away from home was exactly what we needed to get through our stay. The staff was very friendly and helpful when inquiring local restaurants, events, and shopping. Great restaurants to visit close by are Localtellis, Goodsons, Super Yummy (Sushi/Mongolian Restaurant) Chick Fil-A, Arby's, DQ, Panera Bread, Jack in the Box, Gianna Italian Kitchen, Whataburger, and so many more! Walmart and Target are close by as well as Kohls, Famous Foot Wear, Ross, Marshals, Hallmark, and the list goes on! Tomball Bowling Alley is right down the street and so much fun! There is a full service bar/food and arcade in there too. The Santikos Silverado IMAX Theater and Premiere Cinemas Tomball are close by too (Silverado has full service bar, food, and arcades). HEB and Krogers grocery stores are also close! You can't get a better stay than this hotel! We did not anticipate staying as long as we had, but because of the exceptional customer service (Tina and her staff are the BEST), convenience in location and wonderful community; we took our time finding our home extending a few more weeks. It was worth every penny and I'd do it all over if I had to.
