In my opinion, The Palace is the perfect pub to call your 'local'. The charming heritage building has been keeping patrons happy for years. It's the ultimate spot to play two-up on Anzac Day, or relax on a Sunday afternoon.
On a busy night, the crowd can get rowdy, but then again, what crowd doesn't? In general, The Palace offers a friendly, welcoming atmosphere- the perfect place for groups or families.
The spacious, comfortable interior is matched by an impressive outdoor deck and beer garden. Deciding where to sit can sometimes be harder than deciding what to eat.
All the dishes are well priced for their size. Meal portions are huge, just how they should be at a pub. What I like about The Palace's menu is that the food isn't trying to be anything it's not. A lot of pubs now have fancy, expensive menu's serving all sorts of overpriced dishes, offering everything but what you want- a plain old chicken schnitzel and chips.
