Update: Just received Medicare statement for 10/1/25 visit. As a result, I have downgraded my original 3 stars to 1. They charged Medicare $165 for my adjustment & another $165 for "...outpatient visit with straightforward medical decision making." (not sure what that means-- but apparently it isn't a covered expense). Was that the charge for taking my BP & weighing me? As I said in my 1st review, when I was walking out of this place after my adjustment, receptionist called me back in to have "vitals taken." After less than 10 min time, in which my BP was taken & I was weighed by office staff NOT a doctor, I'm once again headed out exit when she informs me (and everyone else in waiting room) I needed to pay $75 for my "exam." Absolute BS. Notice on the Medicare statement, that there is no indication that I had already paid them $75 out of pocket. IMO, they are not only ridiculously expensive but may well be fraudsters. I pay $80 to an Atlas practioner in Reno, NV for an adjustment. He doesn't accept Medicare, and has never once charged me more to take my vitals. Ethics. Matter. read more

I started going here after experiencing some sports-related mid-back pain, and at the recommendation of a colleague. My first visit on a Friday was strictly an examination and x-rays. The doctor was unwilling to make any adjustments until he saw "under the hood." Prudent. The following Monday, the cracking began. I went three times per week my first two weeks, then twice a week for one week, followed by once a week starting week three. By the end of week one, I noticed a significant difference. The massages are an added plus. Just like in a spa, you can state your preference (ie. Deep tissue). Tips are accepted, appreciated and deserved, but not advertised. The front desk is friendly and flexible around your schedule. I consistently see the doctor at the same time as my appointment. I've never waited. I've been going here for a few years now and it has greatly improved my back, I like that they have an atlas adjustment machine . When I first came I could barely stand up straight without pain but this place has changed my back dramatically for the better. I walk more upright now and have less pain. I originally started coming for migraines that I was having about 15 times a month. Within just a few months I was having maybe one migraine a month now I don't have any. I continue to go for adjustments as time passes other things have happened, car accidents, back problems, neck problems, but I would never go anywhere else at this point. I had a lower back pain going down to my right leg and I was told by the medical expert/doctor that I have arthritis. But they also told me to try chiropractic procedure and recommended this clinic. So, I went, and they did their procedures, x-rays, adjustments, and physical therapy. Started with once a week for three months, then once in two weeks for three months. Now, am so happy I tried. No more arthritis. Front desks personnel are very helpful to make sure I get my authorization from the VA before visiting the clinic. read more

Excellent chiropractors and massage therapists. I've been here for three years and have throughly enjoyed my experience here. The difference between here and other chiropractors is the quality of care. The first appointment is radiographs and physical tests to measure baseline. Afterwards they tailor treatment according to your presentation. I've had the opportunity to be treated by Dr. Young, Dr. Ortiz and Dr. Kelsie. All of them are wonderful and knowledgeable. What I enjoy is they are firm but gentle. They won't adjust your body past your limits and will stop certain adjustments if your body ain't responding that day. There isn't just one type of manipulation as well, they will adjust depending on what you are feeling that day. I've been to an office that just did the same adjustment every time which isn't effective. Also, can request less manual manipulation depending on your comfort level. The two massage therapists that I'm regular with are Chris and Matt. Chris provides an analytical massage therapy during his sessions and will target areas to release tension built up that you'd didn't even know was there. He can provide many different methods of therapy which best suits your needs (try craniosacral). Matt is excellent in finding muscle knots/ spasms and provides firm massages that relaxes the areas needing it the most. I've been going to see Dr. Ortiz for years. My daughter was seeing another chiropractor who is no longer at this location and since Covid has been going to see Dr. Ortiz as well. My daughter doesn't like change nor does he trust people easily but you wouldn't know it watching her interact with Dr. Ortiz. He has been amazing with her and has been invaluable to our family. The front office staff are always friendly professional kind and they know what they're talking about when it comes to billing. If you have any questions they are more than willing to either answer them or find the answers for you. She doesn't like change nor trust easily but you wouldn't know it watching her wirh Dr. Ortiz, he has been amazing with her and invaluable to our family. I've been getting lots of relief of years of pain after my appointments with Dr Pairmore. My treatment plan includes chiropractic adjustments, acupuncture and massage therapy - all of which I have gotten relief from. The acupuncturist, Lamar, is thoughtful, professional and gives good explanation of the treatments before and during the process. I absolutely love all the chiropractors at Pairmore And Young synergy chiropractic. They have so much great equipment and each specialist seems to have many modalities. My spine is fused together in multiple places so they can't always use traditional chiropractic methods on me. This is a combo of my two reviews from the previous location: I have been a patient of both Dr. Pairmore and Dr. Young on and off again for the past couple years. Now that Pinnacle seems to have disappeared, I'm returning to them. First, their initial exam is very thorough, including not just the usual X-rays but also weighing feet pressure, taking vitals, and even giving a printout of the skeletal malfunction. I like that they gave me a packet, so I could keep it for reference. Once the tests are done, they take a lot of time to talk to you about what's out of whack and causing problems. Knowing that they have done all this makes me feel good about the adjustments they do, and they always help. I went to the very regularly when I first started and have gradually gone less, as it should be. When I don't throw something out, I can go up to a month between. The doctors have different adjustment styles, but both are gentle. I am comfortable putting my bones in their hands. Dr. Young uses the activator more than Dr. Pairmore, who tends to do more hands on. Both styles suit me. I've had massages from, I believe, all of their therapists, and they have a nice variety and plenty enough to ensure you can get worked in to be worked on. Each massage therapist has her own specialty, including things like essential oils or cupping, but they all do deep tissue (my preferred style) well, so you won't leave feeling like you have just been rubbed down rather than really worked on. I wish the rooms were a bit quieter. You can hear everything around, but it's not too loud most of the time. From a business perspective, they have reasonable cash-customer rates if you don't have insurance. Their staff are always friendly and efficient. I like that can almost always get in at the last minute, or same day, for adjustments and massages. They have a lot of massage therapists, which helps. And their new office looks fabulous. When Covid started, I stopped going because I was skeptical of the whole process . But in August, I couldn't stand with the lingering neck and shoulder pain from working at home without an ergonomic workspace , I had to go for quick adjustment and scheduled a massage with Chris. The check in process and treatment was safe and effective . Front desk took my temp and asked if I traveled or been around with someone who has COVID . To me, those are important questions to ask. Since then , I've been seeing Chris most of the time for massages and if he's fully booked, I'd see Keala and Emily, as well. They are top notch in what they do . This is the biggest joke I've ever seen ever they have great machines put their stuff all suck! They care about their other appointments versus their consultation appointments..... even though they are both appointments!!! I have never in my life been so upset by the lack of respect given by this place. If you're spine is out of alignment and they take your insurance cool good luck but if you're going there for ANYTHING else including ADHD and autism STAY AWAY..... do not go there. Dr. I am sorry but I think you are either misleading with your comment or you need to have serious consultation with your staff. I live in Kodiak and suffer from meniers. The vertigo has responded wonderfully with neck adjustments and have narrowed problem down to atlas problems. No-one does this adjustment in Kodiak so I reached out to your office in Anchorage for help. I called twice and was told both times that your office may or may not treat me. I would need to schedule appointment to get answer. I asked if I could talk with a doctor rather than spending $1000 coming to Anchorage only to find out that you would not treat. Your office staff told me that I would need to schedule a $ paid for phone consultation to find out if you would treat me. They said it was required and standard practice. Dr. Pairmore has moved out of state, so I decided to give Dr. Chris a try....keeping in mind that Dr. Pairmore has been my chiropractor the past 15 years and I wouldn't let anyone else adjust me. Dr. Pairmore was that good. He did a mix of manual adjustments and also using the activator from time to time. I loved his adjustments, as they were always so precise and minimum pain. So having him leave was a big deal for me. Knowing that Dr. Chris was trained in the same method helped alot. That meant that he too would be very precise. And.....I was more than pleasantly surprised, I was absolutely THRILLED with my adjustment. Dr. Chris is good....really, really good. He got my adjustments done with minimum movement, minimum pain and he got spots to move that have always been problematic and somewhat stuck. I am very, very happy with the care I have received from Dr. Chris and I look forward to hopefully, many years of care with him. I started going here when I dropped my old Chiropractor for recommending me to Algone Pain Clinic. I must say, it was a blessing in disguise.
