Double D (apparently the only piercer there) pierced my ears 2 days ago, and when we got home we…read morewere told he gave us the wrong type of jewelry by a friend who is well-versed in piercings. so the next day we went to a high-scale place in houston to get them replaced with studs and that's when we were told that "no amount of jewelry replacing will fix this, it's pierced at an angle that would not heal properly" so they took the (picture attached) to show me and even my partner could see how messed up it was. come to find out he also didn't close the jewelry all the way. so the next day (today, day 3) we went back to get a refund for the faulty piercing and he refused a refund of any sort (even the tip i gave!) for INCORRECTLY piercing my ears. While i understand he can't refund the jewelry (he gave them back to me) i was bummed out of the service fee and my tip after he pierced it wrongly People have had great things to say about his piercings, but this was the worst first impression of Texas Legends and getting my ears pierced i could imagine. Don't bother with this place and go to somewhere in houston for your piercing.

I went in to talk to an artist about having a feather covered up with a very large, dark, shaded,…read moreshadowy piece. I was given the usual "oh yeah, I can do that, no problem". We set an appointment up for the following week. I went in the day we were set to meet, only to find the "artist" "Versace" was not even there that day. His receptionist called him and was told he didn't have any appointments that day. (I can see his book and he actually has two appointments for the day.) HE'S THE ONE WHO WROTE MY NAME AND PHONE NUMBER DOWN FOR THE APPOINTMENT!! I still didn't get the point, and stupidly went back the following day. Appointment started at 6 pm (this "man" doesn't work AT ALL during the day). He has no idea who I am or what I want. (The red flags are just popping up everywhere, but I'm dense at times and don't pay attention). So I describe what I want. He calls me behind the desk and sits me at the computer. The internet isn't working. He starts yelling about nothing ever working when he needs it. Then his cell phone rings, or maybe someone called him, I forget which. He rudely gets up, and walks away from me and the computer to "go handle business" this happens repeatedly throughout the night. He goes into his "room" and closes the curtain. Then a shady looking character walks in, goes straight into that room. I hear hushed voices and packaging being shuffled (almost like they were unwrapping a box) then the shady character left. Then another one shows up (meanwhile I'm sitting behind the computer at the front, the receptionist is gone to get candles, and I'm pretty sure something illegal is going on in the room beside me). Red flags EVERYWHERE, yet still is stay, giving this guy a chance. He's back out, at the computer, and the guy comes out of the room and hands him a wad of cash. Well, that was the end of him working on my tattoo. He had to go pay rent at the other end of the shopping center. Jesus! We were never going to get this going. Finally! Time to start on my ink work. He sits back down when he get back, and googles literally "under boob cover up tattoo". Saves the google image which happens to be a picture of a picture of a picture. The lines were fuzzy. It wasn't wide enough to cover what I wanted covered. He assures me he will draw the rest in after he gets the stencil on. Stencil time! Once the stencil was in place, I loved it! It was gorgeous. All except for the fact there was a huge piece of the feather sticking out of the top of the stencil. I expressed from the beginning that I HAD TO HAVE THE FEATHER GONE WHEN I LEFT THAT DAY. I wasn't expecting such a large piece to be completed in one session, but I expected for that ugly feather to be gone!!! He assures me he can do it all that day, as long as my pain tolerance isn't too low. We agreed on a price of $680. I give my card to the guy, he then tells me that since I'm using a card it will be $692 since he has fees for using a card. Whatever. Still keeping my cool. We retreat to his room. People are still coming and going. I have on no shirt laying in the room. He's got me laying in uncomfortable positions, holing my breath because my breathing made my ribs move and he was "gonna end up messing up." The second his machine turned on, I knew I was in trouble. About 20 years ago I had my eyeliner permanently done with a rotary machine, and that what this joker pulls out and starts working on me with. He starts tattooing on my left rib cage ( the feather is on the right side). I mention this several times, he doesn't move, he just keeps doing what he's doing. I tell him to move to the other side to get some ink in the feather. I'm aggravated, disappointed, and honestly just done with the day. He tells me he "ain't worried about that feather. I got that". I am just laying there, stunned. I look over at his work table and see a gun. A big revolver. So enamored by the fact there is a damn gun in the same room with me. My anxiety went through the roof and I fanboy told him he had to quit. He hadn't touched the feather, and was 4.5 hours into what should be a 6 hour piece, and I have a half an owl below my left breast and still an ugly ass feather below my right one. Was set to go back in last night. I called to verify my appointment and was told he was out of town and wouldn't be able to fit me in until Sunday. I asked if he would just refund part of my money and let me go elsewhere to get this thing fixed. He informed me he doesn't do any refunds. Surely I'll be able to recover those funds from the credit card company. Save yourself so headache and heartbreak. Don't go to Versace!!!
