What a fun experience! I often tell people what a terrible artist I am, so I was nervous about attending a class at Painted. Studios. However, we had such a good time, and I am actually very happy with the result of my first painting attempt. The instructor made it so easy; all the materials were right there for us, she showed us exactly what to do and gave us plenty of time to do it, and the wine helped make it a relaxing experience as well as fun. This was the first time painting with my kiddos so I was a bit nervous and didn't know if the class would keep their attention for the time it took to finish. Jen was amazing and would often pop over and help the kiddos when they needed guidance. The experience was perfect and a Mother's Day memory I will cherish for many years to come. We were shown how to paint a wine glass on a table, the instructor (who is also the owner) took her time and walked us through the process. This place is awesome. I really wanted to try this place so I dragged my mom along. She was not excited but said she would go because I asked her too. However, during the entire class she had a smile on her face and kept saying...this is so much fun. By the end of the class she was already planning on telling her friends about Painted and wants to take another class. The instructor was patient and explained each step so it made it easy for everyone in the class to follow along. Everyone was laughing and having a great time. Another bonus is they sell wine! By the bottle or glass. The class started started around 6:45 and ended at 9:00. I would recommend Painted to anyone who wants to have a great time. read more

My girlfriend and I took a class as kind of a fun date night out. now I am by no means an artist so it is a little understandable that I would be intimidated at the prospect of painting anything more complex than a series of stick figures. Having said this, the painting being instructed was of the San Francisco skyline with the Golden Gate Bridge. The class had about 25 people total and while everyone was painting at their own level, the instructor Jenn kept things at a pace that seemed comfortable for everyone. I actually learned quite a few things about painting techniques and ended up with an end product that I am actually pretty proud of. I only tried one of the wines they were sampling but I enjoyed it quite a bit and appreciated the suggestion made by the other girl that was working during the session. Being a guy I was a little unsure what this experience would be like but overall I have to say I had a great time in a totally unexpected way! read more

Very fun afternoon with my girlfriends! Nice that they supply everything you need to paint your masterpiece! Instructor was fun and it was easy to follow her instructions. You can change your colors or paint anything you want. Will definitely be going again! They play good music too while you paint. When we started I was thinking, music would be good and just as I thought that, she put the music on and turns the volume down when she is going to explain the next step to you. I must say...I am not an artist at all, and when my wife insisted that we go take a painting class i was less than thrilled to say the least....however, i will eat my words and say that this was one of the most fun times i have ever had out with my wife...the instructor makes the whole class very fun and enjoyable....i was honestly amazed at how nice my painting came out....plus, you get to drink while you work, cant get much better than this, HIGHLY RECOMMEND read more

SO fun!! I took my daughters soccer team here for a painting party event. The staff was great and made it super fun for the girls. They play fun music and have an instructor helping the kids. I've been here a few times on a date night and night out with friends. It's a blast every time!!! Great music, and the instructors are awesome!! We recently held my daughters 7th birthday and I couldn't say enough wonderful things!! They did such a great job!! I don't know how the instructor kept her sanity teaching a class of 18 6-7 year olds!!!! But she was awesome!! We were able to bring our own food, and bonus, the adults could drink beer and wine. I had such a fun time at Painted in Folsom. I am an awful artist but they made it very simple and entertaining. I love the pear infused wine that they have, I can't find it for purchase anywhere but it was delicious! I will definitely be back one day. read more

My first trip to Painted. was last Sunday and it was a blast! What a great way to spend time with family and friends. I was amazed at what I could do and our instructor Katie was awesome! She was very helpful and talented. My second trip was yesterday :) my aunt and I are addicted! Even though some things are harder to paint than others, the fact that we are taught how to do them with wonderful instruction and without criticism, it becomes much easier and less intimidating. I will be returning this coming Saturday with a bunch of friends for a birthday celebration and I can't wait! Thanks Painted. for letting me create and have fun!! read more

Painted is so much fun! I've gone twice and have had great experiences both times. The teachers that walk you through the paintings are so patient and are always willing to help! If you aren't the most experienced painter THATS OKAY!! Don't let it discourage you from trying out the class. You are guaranteed to have a great time and make amazing memories regardless of your skill level. Make sure to come in early to grab a seat, especially if you're coming in with a larger group and want to sit close by one another. read more

This was my first paint class like this. My mom came to visit from out of town and it was a great mother-daughter activity. My only recommendation, for those that are having a birthday, maybe include some sort of freebie as icing on the cake - like a "Painted" cup with something in it, or a free glass of vino. read more

We just had a surprise 75th birthday party here last weekend (many different ages attended)! It was absolutely amazing and so fun for all! *** update after a comment that was left by a representative of the company. My comment said nothing about me being upset that one of my party was not able to drink. We didn't care that he couldn't drink and we all understand the policy/law, that was not a big deal. It was the entire experience after that that was an issue. With regard to the response that we received, it was full of excuses with no attempt at an apology. I'll be telling everyone I know to choose another studio for their wine and paint night events. If there was a zero option, I'd probably give it... the price was quite ridiculous for the quality. The teacher was rude, had an attitude and didn't explain things well. The paint was of poor quality, the brushes were shot, we received a small paper plate with no room for mixing colors, no change of water, and extreme attitude if we asked for anything additional. Extremely disappointed for my first time at a paint and wine event. read more
