She's not snobby or pretentious but keeps up on trends and will give you exactly what you ask for. As a bonus, she's personable, friendly. The conversation always goes two ways. No one likes talking to a wall or getting talked over while your at the beauty shop. I know it sounds too good to be true and I'm gushing so I'll tell you what might turn some people away. The shop is small, sometimes elderly women get their hair done there, and there isn't much "flash" going on in there. Misty was confident that she can give me the style and she definitely delivered! She always works wonder with highlights and balyage especially on blondes (too bad I can't go blonde!) Twisted shears is located inside sola salon studios. Her space is bright and cheery. Prices are definitely reasonable with the products she uses (Pravana and olaplex to named a few). Both cut and color are hard to do so well. I usually find stylists better at one than the other but Olivia rocks at both! On top of the great work, she's also super cool so a couple of hours feel like they go by quickly and the place is really cute too.
