So I scheduled my 13 years old's appointment with the suggested girl. When I took her in today. I was told that she charges the same for color weave $140 and $40 to trim her ends. I made sure I told the stylist that my daughter wanted to be pretty blond. when I went back 3 hrs later, my daughter wasn't as blond as i requested and when she checked my out, my total was now $240. I said $80 more than I was told??? she said they had to use extra color. $80 for more color??? and for color that was not as blond as asked for.... Needless to say, we will not be returning or recommending.

Now you might say, Sarah, it's really hard to come up with that many chicken hearts, but counterpoint, it's also really hard to find someone willing to make the carpet match the drapes. One constructive critique: if you're gonna work up close with people, there are all manner of pills and liquids and lozenges to quiet down your gas, Ursula. When your belly is 12" from my ear and I can hear the nascent farts rumbling around inside you, it's damaging to my overall customer experience. Play all the new age disco rap you want, I will still be able to feel your fart tremors on my cheek when you press up against my face in that way you do. (Also, is that really necessary? You smell like old cheese.) I guess this place is okay enough, but there are some real drawbacks.

Sa Haira wasn't a top choice as it had no reviews and therefore a real gamble. But being on the time crunch I was when they said they had an available slot I took it. Lindsey did a wonderful job on the cut and color. It was exactly what I asked for. I love it! The other stylists I encountered were sweet and helpful too. So the lost star comes from two minor but noteworthy issues. The first is relative so take it how you like. My appointment started at 10am and I didn't leave til 115pm. That's over 3 hours! Now I know my hair is long and medium thickness but my usual appointments in my hometown of Portland, OR are usually 2 hours. My stylist chatted a lot with other workers which doesn't bother me except when the work on my hair slows down. The second issue was price. I confirmed on the phone twice that the cost would be $60 for my long, somewhat thick hair. At the end of my appt, I was charged $65. Because I was ready to go and Lindsey did such a good job, I didn't cause a fuss. I had already planned to tip $20 so the extra fee came out of her tip anyway. Overall, I would definitely go back if I am ever back in town.
