Robert started my job and left for vacation and never returned to finish the job. I should never…read morehave given him a large payment in the middle of the job. I did so because he said he was going on his first vacation in over 10 years. Days before he was supposed to return, he ghosted me and didn't respond to texts and phone calls. Then he texted me on the day he was supposed to return to complete my job and said he had started another job and had other jobs he needed to complete prior to finishing mine. Therefore, he said he would have to put my job on hold. He knew the movers were showing up in 3 days, and I was putting my house on the market in 5 days. It was important to list my property as soon as possible because it was October and I didn't want to list the property during Thanksgiving and Christmas. To make matters worse, I was selling a $5,000 leather sofa and he talked me into giving him the sofa for free. I don't think he ever planned on returning to the job because he loaded the sofa in his van without me seeing it. I texted him and asked if his daughter liked the sofa and he said he didn't have time to deliver it to her. Bob knew I couldn't wait. He put me in a horrible situation and caused me to list my property late in October. He constantly complained about not being able to find good workers. One quit after the first day on the job and another didn't show up again. It sounded like the problem with the workers had to do with pay. Also, Rob broke several windows while doing the job. I don't know what he did, but he didn't ask how to open them when he was having a problem and forced them open and broke the seal that closes the windows securely. To make matters worse, he didn't need to open the windows at all. The worker broke several clips that hold up the top decorative piece of the blinds. They were custom made blinds and I was unable to find the clips to fix the problem. Therefore, I had to replace 5 custom blinds with the blinds from Home Depot that did not look anywhere near the same quality as the ones in the other rooms. Bob did not tell me of the problem with the windows. I only found out when I cleaned the windows. If he had told me what he did, I may have had the time to fix the windows before listing the property. The paint he used was very cheap and if you tried to wipe off a mark, it left a smudge on the wall. He moved my furniture and never moved it back in place. After the movers came and moved the furniture, I found out he had not moved some of the heavier pieces and did not paint behind them. This all happened in late September of 2026. I read some of the other comments and thought that must have been earlier in his career because that is not who he is now.

In response to Todd T and his review. I had a similar experience a few years ago where their…read more"drywallers", left a ton of nail pops everywhere. I counted 24 in the one bathroom alone. When I complained about it, I too was met with a very angry owner named Denny. Just a cussing and everything. He came back out and fixed everything, but it was a hassle. I paid $3400 to him for a large and small bathroom to fix them like new and I had to have it all redone 2 yrs later. The drywallers and painters are sub-contractors too, but the painters did a good job the first time, they had sharp lines and did a great job. But when they had to paint the second time, not so much. I think they were in a hurry and just did it to get out. Plus, he used Sherwin Super Paint in my bathrooms, instead of using a semi-gloss to help protect from moisture runs in the paint. After 2 yrs I had to repaint because it looked worse than before they painted. I had the water run stains everywhere in both bathrooms. Even the paint around all 3 tub surrounds was peeling. And the repairs to my ceiling was the exact same issue I had before they came (4 large nail pops in one section), they apparently did not do a very good job when they supposedly ripped it all out and redone that section. Also wish he would had told me Super Paint is one step above contractor grade paint and that I should have used something better. The new painters used Emerald semi-gloss. The painters suggested it and said Super Paint is garbage. I did not know at the time. Needless to say, this was the first and last time I used Fish.

He was very proactive in his communication and clearly explained everything to me every step of the way. My house had not been painted since we built it, and needless to say, David had his work cut out for him! He had to power wash everything, replace rotten wood, fill holes and gaps, remove rusted nails, and paint everything except the siding. This took many days to complete, and as I mentioned, the weather did not cooperate! But despite this, he didn't rush and made sure everything was done well. Throughout the process, he was on time, polite, cleaned up after himself, and was very hardworking. His price for all of this was very reasonable; he used top-grade paint supplies and his quote still came in considerably less than other companies in the area offering one lower grade of paint. Just as important: there were no surprises! His invoice was for the exact amount he quoted. I also received very positive feedback from my neighbors and handyman about their interactions with him. I would definitely recommend David to other homeowners looking for a good value on a high quality paint job done by a knowledgeable and professional paint pro.

Fast forward to the beginning of summer Jared and I finally connected on a good day to get the house power washed. He came on time, and 2 hours later my single story house was beautiful. You don't have to do it every year, but if you get your car washed, and detailed it's a great idea to do the same for your house.
