A couple of days ago I was traveling from Oklahoma City to Kansas City for my birthday week. Approximately 10 miles south of Blackwell, my car started making a thumping noise. It would start of soft and then get louder as I increased my speed. I got off at the Blackwell exit, just south of the Oklahoma/Kansas border and stopped at the Conoco station. They directed me to Paige garage just a quarter mile down the road.
Within minutes they detected the source of the thumping, which thankfully was not an engine problem. Apparently at some point the undercarriage cover that protects the engine lost a couple of screws during my drive and was having down on the back end of it. Donny found some screws that word work and got the undercover reattached and I was on the road again...at a cost of only $10.
Thank you Donny and Derry for saving my birthday week and making sure that I was going to make it up to KC for my Birthday! You guys are the absolute best! read more
