I mention this because it feels that it's curated well- every piece has its own space. Nothing is cluttered or messy. I walked the perimeter a few times, always seeing something new. We walked by Mele the first time and I turned my head but did not go in. On the way back out, my wife was like you want to go in don't you so we did. We were greeted by a female employee, I didn't catch her name unfortunately but she was super nice and helpful. I told her were browsing and didn't know anything about ukeleles. She took time and educated us on the various sizes, woods, pricepoint and the Mele brand. I took a liking to a nice handmade Mango wood tenor. Of course I pick something that is way more expensive than I even need to be in. The employee convinced us to strum a little even though we didn't have the slightest idea of how. But getting the feel for the different sizes was very informative. I'm a little larger at 6-0 200 and realized the tenor size was easier for me to play with my hands. Anyway, this store is amazing! I think we spent an hour in there and it was so much fun just learning about ukelele and the Mele brand. We didn't wind up making a purchase but for sure coming back next year and getting that Mango wood tenor I can't stop thinking about.

I looked at the selection of photos, and picked a price point based on the size and quality of the arrangement. The very helpful person who took my order said that because of the short notice, the arrangement would be "designer's choice," which was fine with me. When I received a photo of the arrangement from my daughter, I was disappointed with the size in general and also the number of flowers. My daughter, however, was pleased and especially loved some of creative greeneries included. I sent a polite email to the florist and expressed my feeling that the arrangement did not look like the photos of similarly priced bouquets. I received a very quick response with an offer to immediately take another bouquet to her, even though they were done with deliveries for the day. The person who delivered the flowers to my daughter was very apologetic, which was embarrasing for my daughter because she liked the first bouquet too. I do not believe for a minute that the florist intended to deliver an inferior bouquet. It was just not what I expected. Perhaps I am "one of those" customers. I am writing this review because I am appreciative of their professionalism and the obvious pride they take in their work. In the future I am going to happily and confidently order from them again. Their willingness to go the extra mile to make a customer happy is a great reassurance when ordering from afar. P.S. I loved the second bouquet!

There so many interesting pieces that fit anyone's budget from the value hunter to the serious art collector. We purchased a wonderful Gyotaku print created by Debra Lumpkins. They even shipped it back to mainland. There was no way that art work was going make it back in our luggage. The location is near some great restaurants which allowed us to have a wonderful day trip from the west side into Pa'ia town.
