    3 Day Nursery Succulents
    Liz B.

If you are looking for a wide variety of succulents, hanging plants, bromeliads and many interesting and exotic varieties, this is the place to visit. They are opened on weekends, not far off of Kula highway and it is well worth the time to visit here. If you are looking for a unique gift, they have the most beautiful succulent arrangements. Derek has made this place into an oasis worth visiting.

We finally had an opportunity to stop in and see the nursery. Parking was limited so we parked on the street. Nice variety.

    The property is huge!!!

I LOVE THIS PLACE. I had to get that off my chest! Phew. Alright so I love succulents. Love them. I used to have a garden with some really cool plants--fun little fact for you. :) When I heard that a succulent place was open in Kula, I was really excited! I actually wasn't planning on going to the 3rd day nursery when I did, but since I was in Kula, I HAD to make the stop! I'm really glad that I did. Parking: I can see it being a little crowded, but I'm guessing that overflow can park elsewhere? It was pretty quiet when we were up there. Selection: AWESOME. For realz, there were so many plants to choose from. Big, small and everything in between. Some were just sitting in the little black containers and others were in bigger arrangements with other succulents. There were so many plants. Check out my photos to see. Prices: When we were there, they were having a weekend sale. The smaller plants were $4, slightly bigger were $6 and they went up from there. The bigger arrangements had their own price tag. Staff: Super nice and so full of knowledge. Jewels helped us decide what to get, told us how to properly care for it, and how to keep it colorful and thriving. It is so obvious that she loves her job and the customers. This is got to be one of the happiest places on Maui. Go up there and see why. Happy Shopping :)

Husband and I went up here for the first time on Aug 3rd 2020, must I say we were intrigued. Derek helped us out and he was very nice. Huge selection of succulents and other plants. Great prices! Definitely affordable! We were so happy with the first purchase we made that we HAD to go back the next day. We went and we met Justin and he as well was very nice. We walked out with a bunch of beautiful succulents on both days and it was definitely well worth the money! Buying these elsewhere you would definitely spend more! But they are very reasonable on prices and they are extremely nice THAT is what will keep us coming back. Will for sure be regulars there. We absolutely loved it and enjoyed it!

I love plants and this place has plenty of them. They specialize in succulents which are easy to grow and come in all sorts of shapes and sizes. Their prices are reasonable and lower than many other places on island. The best part is the super helpful and informative crew. If potting things up aren't your idea of fun they have loads of pre-potted arrangements for every garden, from big statement pieces for a formal garden to tiny pocket plantings. If you're looking for a one of a kind house warming or hostess gift this is the place.

Had a wonderful time at their succulents workshop. Staff very helpful, friendly and knowledgeable. The plants are healthy and they have a great variety. Highly recommend taking the time to check out this nursery and absolutely go to their next worship

In LOVE with my plants from 3rd day nursery. it's my second time coming, i spent what felt like forever trying to choose from their cute arrangements. If you have your own pots, they even sell individual succulents and cacti ranging from 3 to 8 dollars. but some plants are overflowing, and make it an even better deal. their pot designs are so creative and none look alike. you'll probably see one or more shoes holding a beautiful set of succulents! They're going to make my home feel so lively I'm so excited

We walked through a good part of the grounds while viewing many different plants such as trees, shrubs, ferns, grasses, taro and more. There's a lot to know, but basically these native plants are resilient and often drought tolerant and important to consider for landscaping. I have a whole new appreciation for these humble plants and will try to incorporate more on my property. We were able to pool our resources and put together an order, so I bought a couple of Ma'o which is Hawaiian cotton. I look forward to learning more.

When we went to the nursery we tried calling a few times but no one picked up. We still went because it said it was open. When you drive in there is an area with blue rock that you can park and you'll see other cars. We were helped by a very nice and knowledgeable young man. Any question I had he was able to answer and all the plants I wanted they had. There is a large variety to pick from and they are reasonably priced. I picked up a whole bunch for my friends house in Maui and my home in oahu. I got a maile several Ohai, akia, pohinahina, aalii, and alahee. All the plants are still alive and doing good. I had never had luck with the maile that i got on oahu but this baby was nice and healthy when i got it so it just got stronger when I brought it home. Every plant I transplanted from the pot also took very well to the soil. Over all they were super friendly and they were willing to share their knowledge and make excellent recommendations. Next time I'm there I plan to go get more plants to fill what remaining space I have left. I really loved going there.

Not like a garden you walk through with different plants and flowers. They have lots of things, though. There was a yoga session happening in the middle lawn area. They have a butterfly area, even though the butterflies were somewhere else. There is an aging tortoise, I forget his name. There are also different businesses in the buildings, like a spa and a salon. There are different small vendors with their booths and several food trucks; although, some were not open in the morning and the Thai food truck had all their items sold out on their menu already. The prices were even more pricier than the food trucks at Maui Food Trucks. One vendor had hand crafted desserts for $20/piece! I admired from afar, haha. Everything is advertised as "farm to table" maybe justifying their prices. We shared an acai bowl and it was mid. The the peanut butter was just scraped on the side of the bowl. Our typical acai bowls at least put the peanut/almond butter in the middle like any other topping so you can get an even bite with everything. But the dallop of peanut butter just on the side, it was like we ordered peanut butter on the side of our acai bowl. It was weird. I bet it's more alive at night with more food trucks open and live music. We came and saw and didn't come back. I can see how it can be great for families with toddlers running around, giving them a safe space to burn their energy. Until then, this probably won't be the top of our list.

The trucks offer a lot of different dishes to experience, my favorite being the one that sold Hawaiian plates, e.g. Kalua Pork and mac. It's a great place to stop by, relax and chill after a hard day of adventures. Surrounding parking is easy and plentiful. The area to the back of the lots has lots of parking space.
