The amount of items trinkets clothing cards and gift ideas was remarkable. Most shops were not managed but all items were labeled and priced accordingly by their owners. The shops are all small spots that are decorated with the sellers personal touch. As for The Steeped Leaf, I thoroughly enjoyed this little place- and if you like a tea and scone break as much as I do, you've GOT to stop by. Conveniently nestled in the center of The Painted Tree collection of boutique goodies in one humongous shopping space, there is so much to ogle and covet. Go ahead, set an hour or two (3 if you're me) and make it a Saturday or weekday afternoon drop in spot. Take friends, or go alone. And er... consider leaving the kids at home if they like to touch EVERYTHING and will nag endlessly until they coerce you into buying it all for them. I don't know the rules to become a vendor and showcase your goods there for sale, but much of the merchandise within are handmade, eclectic, creative and so much fun. Brace yourself for the most colorful clothing, sparkly things and mischief and decor that will make your heart smile. They have the cutest handmade jewelry and I even witnessed one technician soldering a "permanent" chain bracelet on a customer. I gotta try that! There are no "workers" on the floor, aside from the tea shop workers (who are so nice!) and you just snatch up whatever you'd like to buy and take it up to the front to pay. FUN TIP: Keep your eyes open for individual shops' discount signage. I saw many "20% -50% off entire shop" signs. Wear comfy shoes and try out the tea shop if you can.

I was told to resend the info. She would call me to confirm. So, again I waited. The next day I called to follow up. I was told that the email was received and a response could be expected in a few hours. I NEVER HEARD BACK, no email, no phone call! I deserved some type of response. If they couldn't take it, fine....but let me know. There is no excuse for treating your customer with such disrespect! I'm not inclined to sell or buy from this business again!

The showroom also shares space with where the pottery is made. After spending a bit of time in the store, I decided on the garlic keeper, which i absolutely love, and a bowl. The bowl is microwave and dishwasher safe. A bit on the pricey side, but worth the purchase for a well made product. I'm hoping to have these items for a lifetime.

Plushies, office supplies, home goods, Asian snacks, you name it, it's probably there. It's always well stocked with a few associates walking around to help you if you need anything, and there are yen to USD conversion charts posted through the store to help you price check things. I'd highly recommend stopping in for cheap but interesting gift stuffers and snacks! If nothing else, it's fun to peruse through everything that's there and pick up one of their cute $2 reusable shopping bags.

Was in the area at Curator Coffee enjoying an Iced Pistachio Matcha Latte so I stopped by Daiso…read more I've been to Daiso stores in the Bay Area but never got a chance to stop by this location until now. I didn't have time to go thru the whole store but did peruse some aisles. They're similar to the Dollar Tree/Dollar General concept with offerings of inexpensive mostly Japanese items from about $2.25 on up. There are home items like bowls, towels, utensils, beauty items like hairbands, hairclips, makeup, facial masks, food items like candy, snacks, ramen, Asian ingredients and seasonings, wrapping paper and bags esp. lots of cat-themed or animal-shaped or printed products. I was looking for some Matcha Powder but couldn't find any, just Matcha Tea so I just bought some Arare Rice Crackers. Will come back to check out more when I have more time now that I know where they're located.
