Just a minute's walk from the popular Cwrt Rawlin Inn in Castle View, The Pagoda Cantonese takeaway is the ultimate in post-pub comfort food.
The range of dishes available will have you licking drunken chops while you eagerly wait for your order to be prepared. The service is excellent and, considering the amount of intoxicated customers they have attracted over the years given its location, they have developed a great deal of patience for the less linguistically skilled drunk.
On the other hand, The Pagoda isn't strictly post-booze up nosh, as it is a great place to provide quality food for a chilled out night in. The portions are more than generous and will likely leave plenty of left-overs to cover lunch the next day, following a brief stay in the microwave.
Great service, superb food and everything you could want from a Cantonese takeaway. Unfortunately, they don't cover the dry cleaning bill for the inevitable spillage that comes with munching on the walk home. read more
