It seems like this is a pretty wealthy club, but it's scary to wonder about how much of their wealth comes from poker machines. I can see the immense value of this club for its constituents, I just wish it wasn't also at their expense. As well as having a pokies area that feels like it's the size of the MCG, they also have a pokies cage. Basically this is an "outdoor" area that is caged in with metal, so you can sit outside and smoke while you gamble on the pokies. It basically looks like a jail full of pokies. Having a cage means that no one has to get up and leave the pokies to have a ciggie break. Plenty of people playing them, too, with ciggies and schooners, even at 10.30am. It's the saddest thing I've seen in ages.

A beer garden with its own bar and also an upmarket bistro. That has amazing food at ridiculously good prices! I had a beef wagu pappardelle pasta which was absolutely delicious and the wagu just melted in your mouth! There was also a sirloin steak ordered that was delicious and very well priced aswell. The atmosphere is just the big winner! Can't wait until it's fully renovated! This place is definitely going to be my new local!

As part of the renovations and update, The Warwick has turned out as a pretty swanky hang out. I was here on a Friday evening and it quickly filled up with people and ended up being completely packed by 10pm.
