Talk about off the beaten path!
It literally IS located off the beaten path!
Dont drive too fast or you will miss it like we did. There are no obvious signs pointing where the entry way is, so here's a tip: if you're headed north, it's immediately to your right after driving through the bridge.
There are no resort fees, they charge by the vehicle (I believe it was P50.00Php/pop.) Then you drive a bit through the "beaten path" and find parking somewhere (anywhere really.)
So, it's not "that" type of resort, right? There is absolutely nothing convenient here. There are no restaurants, no eateries, barely had skeleton staff. It's not wheelchair friendly. It's almost like a teenee flat hike navigating through rocks. There aren't bathrooms either, so plan contingencies for that.
There are huts for rent if you plan on staying awhile. You'll have to bring your own towels, food and drinks and anything else you might need for a picnic and a swim. Ohhh, water shoes are a must as the water is pretty rocky. Might I also suggest bringing trash bags for your waste. (Please pick up after yourselves!)
But this whole place really is beautiful. The water is cool and clear - you will see the bottom, regardless of which part of the lake you're in.
If anything, come through just for pictures! It'll be worth it! read more
