My friends and I chatted with them and it was heartwarming to hear about how much passion they have for what they do. Their service is extremely friendly and they even offered us sunscreen in case we didn't have. You can make reservations online and you're emailed a waiver to sign beforehand. The bookings are in blocks of 30min and it's $25 for an hour. Upon arrival, they have lockers for you to lock your stuff up and they'll teach you how to use the equipment and which route to take. Warning: it's very physical. You have to carry the paddle board on a short walk to the water, but it was heavy for some of my friends. We were newbies and it took us some time to get into the water and finally offshore, so just make sure you budget enough time. TLDR: Warning: paddleboarding is much more physical than it appears. Shoreside Club gets five stars for the two brothers that provide extremely friendly service!

Reservation Process Reserving the class was pretty straight forward and easy. The website is pretty seamless for paying for the class and signing up for the time. The communication up to the day was fantastic. It was raining the day I was taking my class and my instructor Amyee reached out to me to keep me posted on any possible changes. The Lesson There was a little bit of rain and and Amyee was keen to ask me if I wanted to move forward as she was happy to reschedule my lesson. I opted to move forward which I don't regret. The rain made the temperature cooler to take the lesson. I Iove Amyee's teaching style. She is super enthusiastic about paddle boarding. Most importantly she is very thoughtful about safety. She was very thorough about what my expectations are and what the strokes were to prep me before going on the water. My favorite part of her teaching style AND taking a private lesson is that she is super focused on making sure that I have the correct form and I'm not starting off with bad habits. Even though I was chatting with her about my life during the lesson, she was extra focused on correcting me to ensure that I have the correct form to operate the paddle board in the most efficient and safe way. After taking this class I'm excited to get out and paddle board more often. Most importantly I'm looking forward to taking more classes with her so that I can gain more confidence with being on open water. If you've been thinking about learning, I highly recommend iPaddle.

It doesn't cost that much on the Amalfi Coast!!! They had a crab cake special for $23. It came with 2 tiny crab cakes on a couple of lettuce leaves, with no sides. It was advertised as an entre, not an appetizer. They were ok, but nothing to write home about. That night we had 2 crab cake specials, and we each had the 2 for 1 spritz, total was $102 with tax & tip and we were still hungry. If the club wants to charge Ritz Carlton prices, they need to step up the quality. Or better yet, reduce the prices to a reasonable level more in line with a casual sailing club experience and quit gouging the members!

It was something I had really been looking forward to. Unfortunately, the experience did not match what was advertised. When it was our turn, our group included two younger children (around age 8 and up), and because of that, the guides decided not to take us through the main beach route. Instead, we only went along the shoreline for what felt like less than two minutes before being redirected back onto a road. We were told this change was due to the presence of the children and the guides not feeling comfortable continuing along the intended beach path. While I understand safety is important, this was never communicated beforehand. We paid for a beach horseback riding experience--not a brief pass by the water followed by a road ride. What made it more disappointing was that my family had been waiting to watch this special moment, only to find out last minute that we wouldn't even be going through the designated beach area that was part of the tour. This experience was not cheap, and we did not receive what was advertised. I would strongly recommend that if you book this tour, you confirm in advance that your group will actually be riding along the beach and not grouped with younger children, as this may significantly change your experience without prior notice. Overall, I was very disappointed and felt that the experience did not deliver what was promised.

Easy to spot public restrooms sprinkled here and there, seemed in decent shape. The beach is utterly beautiful, though aggravating in that so many tourists obnoxiously ignored to many posted signs to keep off the dunes and stay off the rocks. The lighthouse has tours, but the attached cabin seems semi-permanently closed. All in all, I'm glad we took the time to visit... and the bridge to Key Biscayne is its own treat.

We called to verify how they worked as we had some businesses say the rental was for one battery vs a specific amount of ride time. We spoke with Cody who assured us it was for time and not a battery's worth of capacity. We arrived and everything was assembled and ready to go. We were obliged to listen to a safety briefing and explanation of how the foils worked - fair enough. I've seen people get into trouble sailing sunfish after claiming they knew how. After about 20 minutes we launched into the warm water and idled out of the mooring area. A short ride later we were in open water and the conditions were perfect. We zoomed around for about a half hour during which I received instruction and my husband slalomed around. His battery was then about 30% and instead of swapping in a new one, we exchanged boards. This worked fine as I and the instructor both had plenty of battery left. After about 90 minutes of riding with short breaks, we headed in and rinsed off at the available hose. The equipment was good. The instructor, Cody, was professional and we had a great time! Always ask about the battery policy as there was some confusion. It worked out for us as we could swap boards and we all ran on the minimum speed setting the whole time.
