First, this is not an Irish pub. There's an Irish flag drooping in the corner, they have Guinness…read moreon Nitro, and a food menu that tries to sort of be Irish, but it pretty much ends there. That having been said, service is very friendly, good aquavit! They have music on the speakers which is pretty hilarious, it's all classic American rock/country (REM, Steppenwolf, Tom Petty, Lynyrd Skynyrd, etc). Galway Bay tradition it is not. Also, quite expensive, but then again it's Oslo. Good space, plenty of comfy tables and booths. Unlike the bar in the hotel lobby, where they ignore you until you decide to walk up to the bar and order, this place has a sign suggesting to go up to the bar to order *and* they also come to your table to check on you when you sit down. Well done.
