When that failed, we are not in good shape for climbing countless steps, we ended up back in Monterosso. I was ready for a gelato. I spotted Bar Centrale and made a beeline to get my prize for making it back to town. They offer several flavors, I got the lime flavored one. Cinque Terre is a once in a lifetime experience for most, I can eat a frozen lasagna anytime. Our water was €2.50. My change only added to about €1.90 so I attempted to give him a €5 to pay for the water and he refused to give me change. He even threatened to call the police. After having to argue with him for awhile and him refusing to give me my change I decided to grab another water for the €2.50 and left.
