During a recent trip, some friends of mine broke away to hit other places...and I and others ended up at Packrat Comics... I got the better end of the deal:) This place has a HUGE inventory (partially hidden underground,) and it's clean, slick and well stocked with a really great, knowledgeable staff. Jamie and Theresa have recaptured the comic store experience of my youth in spades. I used to be a regular customer at the defunct Wizard of Comics in Westerville. I loved that place. I have been going here regularly for years now and the owners have taken that experience and ran with it. It is a one stop nerd hq. Comics, games, books, Funkos, and you can play games there. They are constantly making the place better and their rapport with the customers is amazing. I have walked in and the conversations are anywhere from political to hows the family. It's almost like Cheers, where everyone knows my name and what I like. They could take over the entire strip mall and just cover all sorts of nerd-dom. They host special events like Free Comic Book day and not at SDCC Con at their store. They have won the Eisner SPirit Award as well. I can't recommend this store enough read more

I love this store the staff is friendly and I've been going here since I was little. They sell everything from busts, pop figures, shirts, collectibles, magic and other cards, board games, nic Nacks, Mangas, and of course comics. They also hold game tournaments as well and if you don't see what you want there they will check there other location and or order it of you ask. This is one of my favorites. read more

Great comic store! I e-mailed the store asking if they had a particular hard-to-find graphic novel and I was e-mailed back within a few hours to hear that they had it and would be happy to help me out. I stopped out on a Sunday and was greeted by a nice young man who did a great job helping me out by helping me find the graphic novel (yep, they have a ton here!) and also suggesting some other graphic novels to read. Let me say that the store is super-organized and very well taken care of. I just love all of the memorabilia and figurines that are posed all around the store. They also have an absolutely huge basement with all of their older comics. You really have to see it - it's a huge collection and appears to be quite a bit bigger than their retail space upstairs. When it comes to comic book stores this is as good as it gets. If you are trying to find a comic they probably have it, and is they don't they would be glad to order it for you.
