You can pick your own apples or select already-picked apples if you want more varieties to select from. They have some already bagged or you can bag your own. I love that they offer apple slices of all the current varieties so you can figure out your favorites. I was surprised I didn't like the sweetest apples but liked the more tart ones. Besides apples, they have pumpkins. The sunflowers were at the end of their life when I was there, but I was glad I got to see them. The gift shop sells cider and other items, and the bakery has pies, cookies, donuts, slushies, and other goodies. Customer service is friendly, and on the weekends, they have other activities to do. But you can walk to the water and enjoy the views.

I also noticed a fire-pit and I'd like to bring my grandkids, let them pick flowers, and then spend time relaxing with a picnic lunch or dinner and roast some marshmallows over the fire. The way it works is you scan the QR code, pick up a cup, fill with water, and grab cutters. You can walk up and down the aisles that have various flowers blooming and pick any you like. If you don't have time to pick, there is a grab and go bouquet in the stand. They are open dawn to dusk April - October. I attended a Christmas in July party this past weekend and we were asked to bring a gift from a local vendor. I brought a gift certificate. The person who opened it didn't want to tell anyone what it was for fear it would be stolen! She wanted it for herself. There's even a raised platform to take pictures. Sky Top has lots to do outside of the orchard. There's an apple cannon, hay rides, bee train and playground. There were more food options than I expected. They offered pizzas, large pretzels, and hot dog combos. And there are so many treats! Fudge, ice cream, kettle corn, different types of dipped apples, and donuts. Everything I tried was yummy. Definitely a fun family day!

The prices are very fair and Mr. H. and co. are always, always friendly. If you go early in the season proper you can get cider and cookies in the red barn at the farm. You can also rent the cabin on the property. You can't miss it. It is rustic and charming. I mean the cabin, but the whole farm has an aura of warmth and secret places among the trees. Make sure you call first, as the trees go fast. The farm is easy to find- the road will curve twice, you go slightly uphill, and bam. You're there, ready to later beg for yet more Target ornaments and to begin a new memory of cheer and goodwill.
