It's a very pleasant time, walking around, checking out trees and appreciating the ambiance of a cool fall day on a farm. The trees are $25, no matter the size - not a bad deal! Mr. Hicks is a very nice person, allowing us to take an additional small plant home for us to plant ourselves. He has been in the Christmas tree business for some time, but he has a greater passion of promoting agricultural education in the community as well as in schools (he is a high school physical science teacher as well).
