Got a great cut and they trimmed the fat for us so we could get right into getting it ready. It smoked up great and cooked up great as well. No complaints at all! The fat ratio to meat ratio was great and they're very friendly at Fenwick's. We will definitely be back so if you're looking for a specific cut, call. I called on a Monday or Tuesday and picked up on a Friday I believe. So you may not have to wait long as they had it Thursday for me but I couldn't get out there in time. You do need to go pretty deep into cross street market to get to them but you can also explore other merchants while there.

Pork chops was ordered and once it was picked up took home to be cleaned the package has rat feces on almost all the meat. I called and even went back to the store and they told me that I was telling a lie and they were not going to refund me. Please don't get meat from them. There are usually a bunch of butcher guys working at the counter, and while they aren't friendly in a "hey y'all!" Kind of way, they make the time to get you exactly what you want. You don't feel rushed. They could be a little friendlier... Prices are a bit higher than what I've been paying in grocery stores, that speaks more to the quality than price-gouging in my opinion. The worst part of Northeast Market is the high counters...ugh. That won't go in my rating, but short people should be advised - there's a bit of a reach for practically EVERYTHING in there.
