I have called Mike (the owner?) about 5 times over the course of 7 weeks…read more The first call I spoke with Mike who said he would swing by my place and look at the job, and that he would call me back. This never happened. I called back after the weekend and again spoke with Mike P. (The owner?). He said he had not been able to visit my site the previous week but would swing by that week to scope the site. This also never happened. I have called back and left 3 messages spaced out over the course of a month and a half since then. He has neither responded nor made any attempt to explain why my money is not worth his companies time. When I first called him, my mother had started Hospice care, and our hillside drive is hard for the nurses to get up so I requested some grading, gravel, and compacting from Mike P. (the owner ?) in the first call. I did not tell him this because I assumed his company valued customers and that a customer shouldn't have to beg for work to be quoted or scheduled. (I called one more time before I posted this) So in my opinion National construction and gravel is a very unreliable company and should not be relied upon for any serious work. Since Mike P. (the owner?)is the only person I have spoken with, sadly I must also apply my opinion to him. National construction and excavation is located 3.4 miles away from my job site and I expected to spend 2-4K usd, and I guess this level of business isnt worth thei Get a company that cares from Eugene. All National did was talk shit about Boyce and sons capabilities and leave me hanging

Mike came out and graded our driveway, laid gravel down, then compacted it. He said that when he…read morewas done it would give us a nice smooth driveway that should last a long time. I have waited a long time (too long) to write this review, because I wanted to see how long his work held up. We live in the country and have a rather steep, long, uphill driveway. Year after year we have paid people to grade and gravel the driveway ($300 -$500 at a time) only to have deep ruts and mud holes at the crest of the hill again within 2-3 months after the work was done. When I explained this to Mike he promised we would have a good driveway that would last a lot longer. He specializes in this and really knows what he is doing... Well it is now 5 years later and our driveway is as good as the day he did the work!!! We had to pay over 3 times what we normally paid, but it has saved us a lot of money in the long run. And it is wonderful not to have to 4 wheel it up our driveway. Great job Mike, and Thank You So Much!!

Over the course of 3 years they periodically worked on large projects for our home. Anthony and his crew became like trusted family members; they earned our trust by their conduct, work ethic and direct communication. Anthony's first priority is to provide the best "product" possible to his customers. We have been very happy with all the projects he has done: * Built a 120 ft beautiful block retaining wall with a metal railing that will probably last longer than our house * Tore out our lower deck and built a larger trek deck in its place, installed a metal railing, rebuilt the stair on the other side of the deck and reinstalled our hot tub! * Built a 20' x 18' attached, permitted shop * Turned an ugly storage room into a beautiful office * Built railroad tie stairway with a landing on both sides of our house and placed 10 huge rocks just where I wanted them. Put down landscape fabric and mulch. I appreciate that Anthony critically thinks through the projects, researches new products or construction solutions, and talks to vendors to obtain detailed information. He communicates well with city and county people and clients. Anthony and his crew are creative, and at times, artistic in their work. We loved our home before we found Anthony.
