My car broke down as I was passing through Bakersfield. They replaced my alternator, and got my car running again. I am thankful for that. However, when I got home, I noticed my horn wasn't working. I called and asked if they had an ideas, but the gentleman I spoke to was clueless. He had nothing to suggest. I had to look it up myself for possible causes (defective fuse, disconnected cable, etc.). I am just disappointed that I had figure out how to resolve it on my own, and that a professional couldn't troubleshoot it. I don't know if they disconnected the cables while fixing the alternator, but it seems very likely due to the close proximity of the components. read more
