extremely incompetent. do not come here. i regret all the business i sent your way, including immediate family as they've all complained and have thrown it in my face and I can't even say anything considering my own attorney let me down. they even missed the SECOND missed intake call. read more

I absolutely agree with the previous reviewer's poor experience (10/5/2020). I had a case with them which was settled for very little compensation and on-going medical treatment. I never met my attorney, I had a deposition with an independent attorney at the PWC offices when they were in the 1st Oakland location, but I didn't feel comfortable, prepared, or supported. I reached out for a medical referral when all my treaters were removed and/or left the MPN, and I was told by an employee named KiKi that they were too busy to speak with me since my case was closed. I guess they were; I see how they have expanded and now call their clients "heroes." Your value is based on how much money they think you can bring to them. It is their business, and every other worker's comp. attorney is the same. The real issue I suspect the 5 star reviewers will find lies in the future; when they need new providers, start receiving treatment denials, or are diagnosed with additional medical conditions that are related to their current injuries. You will look for your attorney to help you navigate this broken system, but you not find any help. Instead you will be transferred to various individuals, or make appointments with "case managers" that are not kept or require 2+ hours of wait time past the time you've scheduled. Then you will have to re-live the nightmare of explaining your entire history to these people multiple times, because there's an excellent chance they won't be available to you the next time you call. I wish I could recommend this firm or another one that will help an injured worker past the money making stage; but I cannot. Just know that your negative experiences are not unique to you and certainly not personal. Your positive ones can turn very quickly as well. read more

Very helpful, compassionate and responsive staff. Each case manager and assistant always went above and beyond to help me. So much so, I referred two close friends who are now clients. Well versed in Work Comp laws and explain everything with patience. Never annoyed or bothered even though I call often with questions. Can text and leave voicemail. Always a response. read more

It feels like I'm in a twilight movie. I still have received any money. I heard it got lost in the mail. Well why didn't your check didn't get lost in the mail. Only mines. This is a nightmare. I called today Sam didn't really know what's going on. I said can you call them and see the status of my check, I'll go pick it up. I have to call back at 2pm. Well see. Meanwhile I'm suffering like fuck. Say they owed you money have that same energy getting mines if it was yours please. Fight for me. read more

I had an injury on my job at AT&T in 2018. It has been a frustrating and grueling process. Now the year is 2022. At first I was extremely disappointed with the services I received from this firm. Never heard from them and they consistently had no clue what was going on with my case. But then my representative was switched to Mark Thuesen and my experience changed. He was attentive engaged and worked my case day and night to get me my just due!! Kudos to Mark and blah to Pacific workers!!! Thanks Mark read more

If I ever get hurt on a job again, I will not be working with Pacific Workers ever again. It does not feel like they are really on my side. They are only interested in how much money they can get out of this. They made me feel like I was lying about my situation. They dont tell you things that will benefit you, especially if they get nothing out of it. They dont even seem to have full knowledge of the law either. I was so unsure of them that i got free legal advice else where and found that I have gotten untrue answers from Pacific Workers Comp for questions I've asked. They make appointments to talk with you and dont keep them. if you have a real injury, dont use pacific workers. if you are one of the people who is trying to make a quick dollar off a not so serious injury, go ahead and let pacific workers get the best settlement they can for you. read more

Great work! Mark Theusen was the proverbial pitbull in my corner. Once we decided to go to trial, Mark was all in. I was impressed by the amount of time and effort he put into my case, even more so when we won more than double what was offered. That 100%+ increase in award more than paid the 15% retainer and made a believer out of me. Speaking as a client, Mark can seem aggressive at times, but he has an objective that eventually pays off. He is even more aggressive with opposing counsel and that is what counts. I laugh when I think back about how many times I wanted to choke him; then I laughed all the way to the bank. Thanks, Mark! read more

Paul was so helpful! Informative, empathetic, understanding. He helped explain things in simple terms and really put my mind at ease about why taking care of your injury is important. He also reminded me about how employer retaliation would be illegal. Thank you so much! read more

Honestly if I didn't get a lawyer I would've been tricked by the insurance company that I was okay when I had severe injuries. I'm grateful to have the help from Iana and Melissa who really worked hard for me to get treatment and made sure appointments where booked and best choice doctors. They're very knowledgeable and the key is to ask questions and keep paperwork together too. It's a team effort and knowingly trust the process because it takes time to heal and be able to get trustworthy help. Thank you again for helping get on the right track to my recovery! read more

From when I started my fight against my company's workers comp, after talking to Almarie (intake consultant?) for the first time I already felt a lot of weight off my shoulders. We briefly talked for 20-30 minutes just for formality. Later scheduled a full consulting session with her and I just felt so at ease that there's a team that believes my case is worth fighting for. Thank you for being so kind and completely sympathetic to my case Almarie. You're the first person since my incident that made me feel like someone truly cares! Next up is Laura who is the assistant case manager. This women is so patient and very kind. I always have 20 questions every week and she never fails to give me a call or an email back. She also makes schedules for me to speak to my attorney and relay messages. She makes my life easier because she also understands first hand the pressure from all sides and dilutes the stress for me. I haven't dealt with an attorney ever until I came here. I've wanted to give up on my job but my attorney always guides me to the right path and pushes me to be patient, keep calm. It feels nice to have someone fighting for your rights but also keeping you in check for your own good. This team makes me feel like I'm worthy. They are very speedy and knowledgeable. They know what they are doing so put your trust in them! My case is far from over but I just wanted to make sure for anyone whose iffy-- they truly care about you and when they say their with you every step of the way, they are. read more

So far I have not been with them long but I don't get a fast response by calling or on emails. Does it get any better?

By far the most down to earth team I have ever met. They have strong communication and was I respected throughout the whole process. They had never given up on me! read more

The intake process was easy and non rushed. Zach K. Has been doing a good job with my case thus far. I've had a couple of different case managers, so better communication would be ideal, and checking calendars for appointments confirmed. I'm still in the middle of my case but my only regret is I didn't call them sooner to represent me. read more

Unfortunately I had to use this place when I got hurt on the job. I must say they are very professional very punctual and will help you with any of your workers comp needs. They have a huge team and also speak different languages which is also helpful. I waited a week and half to get a scripted phone call. She kept re reading the script when I had questions. " This is the solution we can offer. " It was NO solution. This company is a FRAUD , when I signed the settlement they told me that I would get a vocacional education and money as compensation of my SPINE INJURY , after a few days , I received my check but not the VOCACIONAL EDUCATION check. They washed their hands saying that they NEVER promised me that , they denied their own words. Otherwise , I would have never signed the settlement for the ridiculous amount of money that they got for my SPINE INJURY . THIS COMPANY IS NOT PROFESSIONAL , THEY ARE LIERS , BE CAREFUL read more

I would like to thank my Lawyer Mr. Mark Thuesen and his team for all there help and assistance. They provided excellent service by being detailed and informative. I wish I could have had such a positive experience as everyone else has on yelp being that I found them on here. My intake contact was Karla Ortega, she was sweet and friendly and very compassionate to my situation. After I sent the documents to their confidential text line this is where my ordeal began with them. I never received any kind of response letting me know that they got it. I sent over an email to Karla and even called them a few times and left voicemails. Never heard back! My job had sent me back to work and I had needed answers fast so I called again the following week and told the receptionist how frustrated and upset I was that Karla hasn't returned any kind of communication with me. She transferred me to Carlos who told me that Karla was in a meeting and she knew about my case so she would have to get back to me. He scheduled me a phone appointment for 11:30am that day. Guess what??!! That time came and went by 3hours before I called back to let them know she failed to call. All in all they weren't taking my case so I completely wasted my time with this firm! Never again! In response to their comment the receptionist said Carlos. Second of all, you NEVER had access to my medical records just the QME report I sent over for your review! read more

Team Bilal are wonderful, compassionate, knowledgeable folks. This is why you should call them if you need help. read more

Lets be real. All the positive reviews on here are because they either sent us an email to enter for a raffle. And of course everybody is having a difficult time getting by so they are going to leave a 5 stars review so they can win the 50 dollars gift card. That's what many of us did. So it's the end of my workers comp case and apparently I've been having court dates and NOBODY Including my attorney Shane Mckay or his team have taken the time to inform me about them. Now, he is suggesting me to take whatever the defense attorney is offering which is a completely joke. This firm is a total joke. If i was you, i will read carefully all the reviews. In addition I requested to speak to Eric Farber, and apparently according to the manager from the Oakland firm, you cannot talk to him. But he sure has free time to thank all the 5 star reviews. What a joke is this place, seriously. Run away from this place. read more

I wrote a glowing report back in April, and I stand by it. But I have to say that the process is really longer than anticipated, and I'm not getting the medical care I thought I would get. May will be a year, and I'm struggling financially, my workers comp meds have been cut off, the insurance company won't pay my mileage for therapy, and my rent has gone up. I was forced to retire, and only get $1350 month. I have a p/t job, but the weekly pay is less than UI benefits, which I'm disqualified from because of the p/t job. I'm not eligible for govt. assistance because of my retirement. I have to pay a $500 deductible through my job that I cannot afford. So I've had to suffer in pain, and am on the brink of being homeless. I know my lawyers are doing all they can, but I need help soon. I still believe in Pacific Workers because they do look out for the little people. read more

It pleasures me to provide this review for Pacific Workers' Comp/Farber & Co. After experiencing a work-related injury and working directly with the insurance co for nearly a year and getting nowhere, I researched attorneys and found them. I couldn't be more pleased with the support I have received. They go above and beyond for their clients, which is extremely important when you're injured and frustrated. There were so many things I didn't know and never would have known had it not been for my attorney team. I continued to be amazed at how hard they fight for clients. A special S/O to my Case Manager, Kiki Lubin. There aren't enough adjectives to describe how absolutely AMAZING she has been. So caring and kind. She always has my back. If you have a work-related injury and in need of the best legal representation, look no further. read more

After my injury and the compensation I was offered by my old job's insurance company, I felt that there was something wrong and that I might be missing out. I called Pacific Workers' to ask some questions, and they made me feel welcomed, outlined everything that was going to happen in detail and were honest about their assessments. They took care of everything, and at the end I got a compensation package that I was very happy with. My attorney was Robert. He provided me with a very smooth experience, patiently answered all my questions, and worked hard to represent my best interests. If you even have the slightest feeling that you might need representation, DO NOT HESITATE to call these guys! read more

Super easy to get ahold of them, great customer service & understanding.

This message is for Eric Farber and Bilal Kassem. I have deposition tomorrow and I have no idea where to go, who to call. My "case manager" is Patricia Gamez and the other guy who is "helping" is Andres. I have a group chat with them and they will not answer my questions. For weeks I have been asking to meet with my attorney Alexandria Dhaliwal. They have yet to let me speak with her. I even emailed her myself and never received a response. I absolutely need a new attorney, please. I have been begging her team to communicate with me and provide me information. I never receive any worthy responses. This most recent inquiry is concerning tomorrows deposition. I have no idea what time it is, how to attend our where to go. I reached out to them many times of the past few weeks. The responses I receive are "we will give you more information closer to time"... Today I sent a request for more information and was told they would contact me no later than 5pm. To be honest this is not professional work. Can I have either a new attorney or can I be referred to a whole new law office who does reputable work? Sorry for the message being here, I cannot find your emails on your website. There is no point in asking for the bosses contact info with my current resource team as they don't respond to my current help requests either. read more

When I got hurt at work in March 2016, I quickly found myself up against my (former) employer and my Comp case worker. Both ignored me and seemed to care about everything else more than about my tteatment and recovery. The team at Farber & Co were God-sent. I could never have navigated through almost 3 years of recovery, with 3 surgeries, dozens of physical therapy hours, a good dozen of cortisone injections, and a stack of papers about three times the thickness of an old-fashioned phone book! Farber & Co guided and supported me through it all. They always took the time to explain the process, or answer any of my MANY questions. If you got hurt on the job, do yourself a favor and get a lawyer. And if you want a kick-ass lawyer, and legal team on your side, get someone from Farber & Co. I am forever grateful to them for all they've done for me!! *****Highly recommended***** read more
