From when I started my fight against my company's workers comp, after talking to Almarie (intake consultant?) for the first time I already felt a lot of weight off my shoulders. I want to thank my Attorney Lana Zadneprovskaia and her team for supporting me during my case against my company. I sustained an injury at work but continued to work and did not seek treatment at the time of injury. When my Manager wrote up the report of my injury he conveniently left off all the complaints of pain I reported to him. I even had a conference call with Managers throughout my company to go over the events leading up to my injury and they also failed me. They assured me if I needed to go to the doctor they would take care of me,but they never informed me that the statue of limitations to get medical care were one year. When I finally did go to the doctor because I could not walk without excruciating pain a year had gone by, therefore my companies insurance denied my worker's compensation claim.I was a little shocked but not surprised and suddenly felt hopeless. When I first contacted Farber and Company, everything was great! They were getting treatment approved that was denied several times, and even had my surgeon approved. Now after 3+ years, and running out of my Permanent Disability payments, my attorney doesn't seem to be fighting for me. She's just accepting what the defense is saying, which is only future medical...which is Nothing because all medical treatments have been denied or at least 99.9%. Even with back surgery and hardware installed in my back for fusion, and I'm a level 5 I'm still paying for my prescriptions and treatment because the Workers Compensation insurance denys it. read more

I wish I could have had such a positive experience as everyone else has on yelp being that I found them on here. My intake contact was Karla Ortega, she was sweet and friendly and very compassionate to my situation. After I sent the documents to their confidential text line this is where my ordeal began with them. I never received any kind of response letting me know that they got it. I sent over an email to Karla and even called them a few times and left voicemails. Never heard back! My job had sent me back to work and I had needed answers fast so I called again the following week and told the receptionist how frustrated and upset I was that Karla hasn't returned any kind of communication with me. She transferred me to Carlos who told me that Karla was in a meeting and she knew about my case so she would have to get back to me. He scheduled me a phone appointment for 11:30am that day. So this is long over due, but god bless and a huge thank you to PWC especially Attorney Mike Ullrich and Jazmin. Every one there gives you 1st class service no matter what your employment type is. They treat famous basketball players the same as they would me, a low paid production worker (former) with dignity and respect. They fight for you like your family would fight for you. I settled by compromise and release with the help of Mike Ullrich. He took the time, after hours when he should be with family or resting, to get every last little detail. Even things i wouldnt think to mention. He also called me back on a time convenient, same with Almarie and Jazmin, to brief me for court if it came to going to court. Which we didnt even have to do. When he couldnt call he would kindly apologize and let me know he was running behind or what not. We were able to close the case within 11 or so months. With the "settlement", I was able to get out the temp field and production and persue my passion of nursing. I now have a new career, making better money, in an entry level nursing position. The people at PWC changed my life. They rescued me and fought for me when i was hurt from work. If I need an attorney again (god forbid), hands down i would go back to them time and time again. I wrote a glowing report back in April, and I stand by it. But I have to say that the process is really longer than anticipated, and I'm not getting the medical care I thought I would get. May will be a year, and I'm struggling financially, my workers comp meds have been cut off, the insurance company won't pay my mileage for therapy, and my rent has gone up. I was forced to retire, and only get $1350 month. I have a p/t job, but the weekly pay is less than UI benefits, which I'm disqualified from because of the p/t job. I'm not eligible for govt. assistance because of my retirement. I have to pay a $500 deductible through my job that I cannot afford. So I've had to suffer in pain, and am on the brink of being homeless. I know my lawyers are doing all they can, but I need help soon.
