The accident guys are awesome!! If I could give them more then 5 stars I would! I was involved in an accident in Jan 2016. I was T-boned on my driver side & I also had my 11 year old daughter in the car during that time. That day I thought I was going to die as I saw that car coming straight at us. I never thought I would be so glad to hear my daughter cry & scream. The relief to know she was alive...injured but alive!! Both my daughter & I were both taken away by paramedics. The accident was confirmed I was NOT AT FAULT. I had hired 2 lawyers prior to hiring the Accident Guys. While I was being represented by the previous lawyers I felt like I wasn't the victim... that the accident was my fault due to the treatment I got from the previous law firms & insurance company. The first attorney just wanted to wrap up the case didn't care much for getting my daughter & I the proper diagnosis & treatment. Two months after the accident I hired the 2nd law firm which was more focused on finding the driver who wasn't the registered owner. I kept getting the run around from this attorney. I had full coverage on my car & was still making payments on the car as well. They wouldn't assist me with anything as far as the insurance company or the payoff for my car. Kept saying there was missing info on the accident report & wanted to hire a private investigator to look into that matter (which would come out of my settlement). All the while I was driving around with a busted driver window (in the rain & all)& dented driver door which was extremely hard to open & close especially with my back & neck injury. I was having issues with my own PCP doctor and couldn't get a diagnosis or any treatment for my injury (mind you I had a previous back surgery 1 1/2 years before this accident). I was sick of the run around & pain. I started looking (online) for personal injury lawyers. I was real sketchy so I was reading reviews from other people to help make a decision & came across the Accident Guys. From the first initial phone call I felt relief. I explained my situation to Eliot Houman who was my attorney & did his job to the fullest. He explained what his game plan was & stuck to it. He reassured me that they would find me a doctor to give me the proper diagnosis & wrap this case up for me so I could put it behind me. Eliot & Karen Hermosillo (my case manager) did just that! Within the same month I retained their services they got me to see a specialist, a MRI was done & I had got my diagnosis. I had bulging disc all down my cervical spine & bulging discs in my lumbar spine L4, L5 & S1 with nerve damage. My daughter had suffered neck & head injury which caused more frequent headaches, possible vision loss, as well as neck pain. We were both traumatized but this but my daughter was extremely emotionally traumatized by this accident. Eliot & Karen worked very closely with me & ensured me this would be wrapped up in a timely matter. Kept in close contact with me via phone, text & email. If it wasn't for them I would've lost my patience. I didn't have to do anything but attend my scheduled appointments & stay in contact with them. They assisted me while dealing with my financing company for my car, my insurance company & the doctors. Less then one year after retaining their services they got my daughter & I the max settlement amount for our bodily injuries. They did more then just that though... They gave me the comfort in knowing my case was in good hands & would be behind us soon. Ten months after retaining their services my case was settled. My daughter's case took a little bit longer being that she is a minor but I am very satisfied with their services & would definitely recommend them. Normally I don't leave reviews (especially one this long) but this law firm especially Eliot Houmam & Karen Hermosillo deserve to be recognized for their hard & devoted work on my case. First, I'd like to start off by saying that if I could give The Accident Guys 8 stars I would. I have never experienced so much professionalism and punctuality in my entire life. The lawyer that took on my case was Eliot M. Houman. Eliot is a winner. He is the best of the best for the following reasons: 1. Eliot is a MAN OF HIS WORD. If Eliot says that he is going to do something, HE WILL. That is a priceless trait. 2. My accident took place in September 2016. Eliot scheduled me to see the investigator the following day after my accident. That is unheard of. 3. Eliot was very prompt! He answered all of my questions and returned all of my calls. I had many questions because I just moved to California from Boston and it was a very traumatizing experience. 4. He gave me updates about my case and took care of everything. He went out of his way to help me obtain the documents pertinent to my case. 5. He's very honest. He walked me through my case and gave me great advice. 6. HE GENUINELY CARES ABOUT HIS CLIENTS! He frequently called me to ask how physical therapy was going. It's those little things that mean the world to me and show me that this was more than just a case to him. After I was rear ended, I didn't know what I was going to do. The other driver was trying to avoid responsibility and my neck and back injuries were keeping me from taking care of my 2 sons (including a VERY active 2 year old) without significant pain. I couldn't even put him in and out of the car seat without crying and lifting him in or out of the crib was impossible. My car was totaled, I could no longer work and I felt extremely discouraged. When a friend recommended a lawyer, I was hesitant because I could only think of the stereotype of dishonest lawsuits, etc but honestly, hiring The Accident Guys to help me navigate the mess of insurance and personal injury was the best decision I could have made! I would have never been able to receive the medical care and treatment (chiropractic care, acupuncture and pain management) for as long as I needed it without their help. Attorneys Omid and Anthony always checked in on my recovery progress and were upfront and honest about the process. Samantha was also very helpful in relaying information. I had an accident where a distracted vehicle driver ran the red light . Had it not been for the east and west driver who unfortunately took the blunt of the red light runner hit, which then sent the driver into a wild tail spin, making impact to my vehicle in the mist of me making a right turn, It's possible that I would not be giving a review. Never the less, and even through the trauma as well the injuries, I was glad that I choose The Accident Guys. These folks gave me their undivided attention through every step from reporting, recovery, to a very fair settlement. The entire team was in constant contact whenever something was needed and or changed. The pain management doctors where the best and gave me great relief from my injuries and would follow up after each treatment. I even had a great physical therapist who was conveniently close to my daily routine without having to rearrange my schedule. It was the best decision I could have made at the time. The entire process from start to finish was as painless as it could be for my wife and I excluding the physical pain from the accident. I was connected with doctors, specialists, and physical therapists all local to me. These guys are legit! I called them the day after I was hit by a car while riding my bike in Venice and they really took care of me. The case was settled in just over a year (which is much better than what I had heard from some of my friends) and they were there for me every step of the way. Communication is key when handling legal matters and Nick, Omid and the rest of the team were always quick to respond and fully explain what was going on and what my options were. They know how to play hardball and get you what you deserve. Once my case was settled Nick went on to negotiate with my medical providers for a better rate in order to get me a better final amount and it couldn't have come at a better time. The Accident Guys are the Best. Nicolss Ramirez and Eliot Houman gave me contigent Doctors that in the beginning I was very skeptical to sign contracts for. I was in an accident back in December of 2016. I started speaking with Attorney Eliot not too long after that. I didn't have to do anything else after that. The firm found and contacted all of the doctors and therapists for me. All I had to do was to show up for the appointments. I have never been involved with this kind of thing in my life. I had a satisfactory experience with The Accident Guys after I was rear ended a year ago, just days after moving to LA.
