She referred me to her daughter, Stephanie who right off the bat spoke to me very condescendingly, then told me to send her my email address by text message and that she would set up an appointment for me. After not hearing from her for a week, I contacted her again and got absolutely lambasted stating "I'm going to talk now" stating she "was on vacation in Colorado with her partner for an event, then went on, and on about that is what she chooses to do since she's been in the hospital, blah blah blah.. She then told me she would be contacting me during the following week. I waited again (foolishly) as she instructed, because I take people at their word....and that call never came. I'm not sure what I ever did to her to be treated so rudely and disrespectfully by someone out of the blue? I just figure God was probably looking out for me after reading all of the negative reviews. Stephanie really put me in a bad position and wasted almost 2 weeks of my time, which was two weeks I didn't have. This left me very disheartened and confused because I had never done anything to this woman except for call to inquire for her professional services. It cost absolutely nothing to be a decent person, which she was not. The way I look at it, is that I really dodged a bullet.

They are very pleasant people, but not easy to deal with. Additionally, they are expensive. They charged me $140 to produce a single 1099-MISC, that I supplied all information for! Their new system and their demands became too difficult to deal with. Their questions seemed like audit questions rather than tax questions. And questions they should've asked about my taxes, they NEVER asked. They assume you know what should be submitted to them, and don't ask you any questions about what wasn't submitted. For example, in 2024 with the Mountain Fire in my neighborhood they should've asked about catastrophic losses. They know my address and know I live in the middle of many houses that were burned to the ground. They should've asked but never did. Fortunately, the question was asked for my 2025 return. Lack of competence or lack of leadership? Not sure which, but glad I switched.
