Customer service: last year (2023), I called about 3 times to schedule an apt. Each time, I received different information. Since I am not local, I cannot stop by to drop off my paperwork yet 2 of the 3 reps required that of me. One of them said I can bring it with me to my appointment. Appointment: The actual appointment with the tax preparer was ok. It lasted about 30 minutes. He answered my questions. Price: fees seemed to go up each year. There is no regulation. I went to JT from 2019-2023. The services in 2019 and 2020 were okay. The last two years the services were poor. There was inconsistency with the information shared by front staff, the customer service was poor, and they charged by way too much for filling my taxes even though my documents were simple and straightforward. In 2023 I filed my taxes with JT through his employee, Daniela Castro; I was charged 220! Also, they required me to drop off all my documents at least 2 days before filling. I've been going for about 4 years now. Each year I noticed the price kept going up. I naturally expected that this was due to company expenses, but enough was enough. They charge you to reprint previous tax documents or digital copy, they charge you for an estimate, they charge for everything without clearly offering you a fee schedule. I would prefer if they were transparent with there fees and prefer they would keep there prices low, but that wont happen. With the price of them to doing taxes increasing and fees not being clearly stated, I say your better off doing your taxes using an online software. If you win less then 69k, the IRS even offers you a free online product to do them yourself in the comfort of your in home. I cannot in clear conscience recommend JT Tax Services. If you do end up going, please ask them to specify the fees they have in place so you wont get any nasty surprises. Good Luck. read more

The worst service I have ever experienced. Complete waste of two hours of my life that I will never get back. I had a 245 appointment with JT , and we waited for over two hours.
