I have no faith in the staff. The person who answers the phone needs to be a little more tuned into my needs. Please get organized.

OK, but here's the thing: we got the most ROCKIN' child from PRS's services. I can't remember a thing about the customer service.

Our questions never went unanswered and I felt like they provided honest, compassionate, and ethical care. Our experience with Spring Fertility was disappointing from start to finish. We came in hopeful,…read morebut quickly realized this clinic was not the right fit for us as a same-sex couple. We've spoken with multiple people who have used their services, and the feedback is truly mixed--some had good experiences, others barely satisfactory and some were REALLY BAD. Unfortunately, ours fell on the negative end. If you are a heterosexual couple, you may have a smoother experience. However, as a same-sex couple, we did not feel welcomed or supported. We've since connected with five other LGBTQ couples who shared very similar concerns, which says a lot about a pattern rather than a one-off experience. Our doctor, Dr. Nam Tran, came across as arrogant and condescending which has the same tones in some of the other reviews on this platform. At multiple points, we felt like we were wasting his time rather than being valued patients during what is already a very emotional and vulnerable process. He was late and then proceeded to say he has another appointment and we didn't get the full time. We constantly had to call the clinic because they don't call back after leaving a message from the previous week. We always were on time for our appointments and were always delayed to be taken in. While the clinic may now have an LGBTQ staff member, that alone does not make the environment inclusive or affirming. Our experience did not reflect meaningful change or genuine understanding. We ultimately decided to leave and seek care elsewhere, which was the best decision for us. For anyone considering this clinic, we strongly recommend doing thorough research. There are lawsuits filed in 2025 in California alleging negligence and embryo loss, with concerns raised about prioritizing profit over patient care. These are serious issues and worth looking into before making such an important decision. We would not recommend this clinic to LGBTQ couples seeking compassionate, respectful fertility care. YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED AND ADVISED of this company! Take your business and $$ elsewhere where you are respected of your time and your self worth. https://www.dailyjournal.com/article/384511-venture-capital-s-role-in-ivf-clinics-under-fire-in-lawsuits

While Kaiser Permanente quoted us a six-month wait just to get into their fertility clinic, RMA saw us right away. The doctors at RMA are some of the most caring and compassionate you will find. Dr. Daniel Kaser and Dr. Scott Morin have excellent bedside manner, always taking the time to listen carefully and address every question, fear, and concern. They clearly communicate proposed plans of action, giving intended parents a clear path forward during what is already an emotionally challenging journey. The nurses deserve special recognition as well--they are exceptionally caring, attentive, and responsive. Whether it was a simple question or a moment of anxiety, they consistently went above and beyond to make us feel supported. The entire RMA team was also accessible every day of the week through the Spruce app, which gave us reassurance and answers whenever we needed them. After working with RMA for more than four years, we are overjoyed to finally welcome our first child. Dr. Kaser was meticulous in his work and thoughtful in every recommendation. With RMA's support, my wife and I navigated egg freezing, IVF, and surrogacy. Dr. Kaser set an exceptionally high bar when it came to matching us with the best possible surrogate, which gave us the highest confidence in achieving the best possible outcome. We are deeply grateful to RMA for walking with us every step of the way and could not recommend them more highly to anyone pursuing this path.

Facility Hygiene: There were swabs on the floor where blood work was happening. This is a significant concern for cross-contamination and medical safety. Restroom Standards: The washroom was notably unhygienic and appeared to have been overlooked. Nursing Care: I found the clinical care to be lacking in thoroughness. The nurse assigned to me appeared disengaged, as if completing tasks with minimal effort. Clinical Accuracy: Most concerning were the significant errors in the calculated numbers provided by the nurse. The discrepancies were large enough to raise concerns about the accuracy !

We were "this is taking a long time to get pregnant but maybe we're just not trying hard enough" in DENIAL folks who "let's just freeze our embryos just in case" turned into a many year journey of infertility treatments to grow our family. We are so blessed and so grateful to Dr. Smikle and our main nurse Kat for all these years of support. We weren't an easy case at all, from my being a traumatized needlephobe hard stick that needs plenty of time to hyperventilate and get distracted from the medical assistants and nursing staff, all the way to Dr. Smikle personally getting my blood... on multiple occasions... To coordinating an out-of-state start-up for reproductive immunology opened (Pregmune by Dr. Andrea Vidali) for my assessment and their interpretation.. To answering all my anxious research throughout the years of all the extra "add ons" that may or may not actually help... To the extended monitoring to 8 weeks because we had a subcorionic hematoma... We are eternally grateful. Our son just turned one year old and we are just flooded with memories of our journey that got us here with the help of Laurel Fertility.

Of all the options in SF, I'm so glad that I went with Dr. Smikle in part because he's an amazing, empathetic, friendly, and super knowledgeable specialist, but also because the experience felt much more personal and hand-held than what other clinics had to offer. When you're going through IVF, there are a lot of factors to consider like getting PGA testing done, storing eggs or creating embryos, getting biopsies/tests done on yourself, and managing a lot of medications that are time-sensitive- but none of this felt overwhelming while I was a patient at Laurel Fertility. My friends' experience at larger clinics and teaching hospital clinics sounded very impersonal, where they would receive (good) care but from lots of different practitioners (rarely the same one twice) and they weren't able to develop a 1:1 relationship with their doctors or nurses/phlebotomists. However at Laurel things were different, and you get to know your doctor as well as the clinic staff over time, and they really root for your success. The staff are there to comfort you when things are stressful or difficult, which is unfortunately a pretty common feeling when you're going through infertility treatments. It was truly an amazing feeling to 'graduate' from this clinic after a successful embryo transfer, and I'm thankful to Dr. Smikle and the staff at Laurel Fertility for their compassionate and professional care.

He never treats you like just a "patient"; he treats you like a person, listening closely and offering thoughtful, expert guidance. I have severe DOR, and Dr. Cakmak has supported my husband and me with incredible care and determination, always working toward the best possible outcome--and he has truly delivered. Our last RE left us feeling completely hopeless. We searched everywhere for help until my UCSF neurologist referred me to Dr. Cakmak. From our very first meeting, everything clicked. He draws everything out on paper, takes his time, and makes sure you understand exactly what's happening in your body. He is, without question, a true genius. What we appreciate most is his care, compassion, and commitment to our future goals. Five stars hardly feels enough for Dr. Cakmak and his team--Jill, Katherine, and Rae! They are truly the best in the business. You are in amazing hands with them!

While you're told that your doctor will be "supervising," in reality you're shuttled between different providers: a nurse does your ultrasounds, another doctor reviews them, that doctor sends a note to a nurse, and finally the nurse calls you with instructions. This game of telephone is not only impersonal, it also led to miscommunication and errors in my care. And if you actually have questions for your doctor, good luck. The experience felt HIGHLY impersonal. If you have questions, you're told to ask your nurse , who often doesn't know and has to forward them to your doctor, who may or may not ever call you back. Often resulting in hours of waiting with anxiety. While this clinic may have decent success numbers, the process feels more like standing in line at the DMV than receiving supportive, personalized fertility care. With so many other options in San Francisco, I would not recommend choosing this clinic. Do not be fooled at the consultation.

I was mentally and physically drained after years of alternative therapies, fertility massages, acupuncture with different practitioners, HSG, 3 rounds of failed IVF and multiple miscarriages. Apparently my eggs were all abnormal and fertility doctors gave me a 1% chance of getting pregnant. Defeatedly, we began looking into donor eggs and adoption. Then a friend suggested the book "Making Babies" by Dr Sami David and I had a phone consultation with him. At this time, I was 41 and he convinced me to try one more time to have a baby naturally. I found Dr Lee on Google and skeptically began a 3 month treatment program with her - acupuncture weekly with Chinese herbs twice a day, 6 days a week. My husband and I were also very strict with our diets - no alcohol, sugar, pasta, limited beef, no tofu. I had an inkling that I was pregnant about 12 weeks into the treatment but didn't want to get my hopes up. It was too early for a pregnancy test so I mentioned it to Dr Lee. She adapted her treatment in case I was. My pregnancy was confirmed and my OB/GYN began weekly tests with me as I was considered 'extremely high risk'. They expected me to get gestational diabetes with a high chance of abnormalities. I continued treatment with Dr Lee during my first trimester. She helped me with nausea and general well-being. In the end, I had a smooth pregnancy and gave birth at 42y.o. with absolutely no complications as my OB/GYN kept on expecting. My beautiful daughter is now 20 months old, very happy, healthy and bright. She is truly a miracle and would not exist if it weren't for Dr Lee. We truly cannot thank Dr Lee enough. He is kind, caring, empathetic and has a celebrity-like quality. I see angry/negative reviews and the problem I have with them is, I doubt Dr. Turek looked at anyone and said, "I can fix this without a doubt". If you're looking for certainty, I think it is highly unreasonable in this area. My wife and I understood this but would have stopped at nothing to build our family. I understand the cost involved is staggering but if Dr. Turek has any guidance it is worth following based on your desire and resolve. Diagnoses: Azoospermia Treatment: 1. Sperm mapping. 2. One of the most important points I would like to make is, at the time of treatment I was in my mid to late 40's. I had never been under general anesthesia, been operated on nor had stitches. I was TERRIFIED knowing what I was about to go through. Literally my worst nightmare come true. I still have spontaneous thought inducing panic about the days leading up to my surgeries. I would do it all again without hesitation if it was Dr. Turek who was my physician/surgeon. I felt he was truly invested in our success and my care. He knew and understood my pain and anxiety. He knew how important this was to my wife and me.
