I had a bone graft from a specialist, then i came to this dentist had implant,the implant failed in a short time, but this dentist blamed the specialist bone graft work, it makes no sense because before the implant he said everything looked fine. He shifted the failure to the specialist's work, he doesn't take the responsibility and cannot be trusted. I had terrible experience with his unprofessional money hunger behavior about dental implant only last three weeks failed . I didn't receive standard care during the implant removal and later i found I was not qualified for this implant. They Cheat my billing I paid almost $1400, I paid about 300$ more than I should and insurance paid more than one thousand. I had extraction bone graft , cleaning, deep cleaning, and implant in this clinic. The extraction he did fine , the bone graft other two dentist together checked said there is nothing. The dentist doing cleaning unlike hygienist. this clinic has billing problems many time just verbal unlike others clinics with papers. Before the implant no problem, i got the service he got the money that is only he wants. The problem from my implant failed only last three weeks. He did the implant two times during the procedure and went so deep, after implant 15 days he checked said great , one week later he said infection he just pulled out the implant without anesthesia, I was so painful and he didn't clean the area just washed my mouth, at the end I didn't want to redo. They gave me partial money from I paid they still have the money from insurance.Some problem caused from the manager, she lied and blame me didn't take antibiotics,it was not true the implant 15 days was fine after 20 days he said infection he just pulled out, if his manager is kind heart or if treated me a little better the things be different. This dentist only listen to his manager money hungry not care about patient when he did bad work. Dr make mistake a lot therefor Dr is call practice this dentist need to understand this. Because I was pain so after I had other dentist checked gave me CT scan said I had the tooth infection next to the implant, that is the reason the implant failed and I should not have a the implant . It was very unfair so I went to little court, this dentist very unreasonable he didn't take any responsibility and all the work he did, he said he did the work and he still had about 300$ but he ask more than one thousand back. My implant was tight but he said loose came out to avoid he didn't give me anesthesia for removal, my money overpayment he said refund then asked another more money and my part of the payment he said write off then asked me more money, he is really money hungry use trick to get. Later on from his letter to ATG said my next tooth to implant had infection before the implant, so i was not qualified for implant and he still gave me the implant.He doesn't know what he doing on implant and he sold his conscience for money, here has character limited there will be more details on Reddit. I had a terrible experience at pacific nw dentistry with Dr.Jean Paul Banh during my dental cleaning on 01/20/2025 hygienist she did a very bad service, use hand tools to cleaning force to #13 upper teeth cracked half a way. i called after i went my home then next day morning went his place Dr. he looked and said i know what happen then he said need to put crown, he grinds it up the tooth it was very sharp on touch. it was damaged by at the service. the front desk lady said crown need cost 650.00 and deposit 193.00, Dr. Banh, he was incredibly rude and dismissive, even telling me to go somewhere else if i wasn't happy. this isn't first COMPLANT I've heard about this practice. A friend of mine mentioned similar issue where an implant was mishandled by same dentist Unfortunately, i didn't heed that warning but i regret it now. but the quality and customer service don't justify the prices. 1 won't be returning and strongly advise others to seek care elsewhere. read more

Finally got the chance to come here myself; starting with the atmosphere of going into the dentistry was super welcoming and quiet. I was assisted by the dental assistant who made me feel super comfortable. We were definitely holding up a conversation and she was super nice. The dentist himself is so genuine and just a wonderful person overall. He doesn't judge you if you have messed up teeth and continuously tells you that you're doing a good job during the whole service. They have a massaging chair when you get work done on your teeth and music to help calm your nerves. Just a great dentistry overall and have no complaints because there's probably no where better than here to see a dentist. They are open to the questions I asked and always had the answers for them; which I can say most medical places don't answer you on spot. read more

I was charged $150 for an hour of nitrous gas during my procedure. The Dr made it pretty clear when I asked for nitrous that he preferred not to use it, but it's my choice. The mask they use is awkward and uncomfortable. Unlike any other dentist office I've ever been to it required me to insert small tubes inside my nostrils. The left tube kept blowing cold air which made me never be able to fully relax (which is why I paid for the nitrous to begin with). After I asked several times for them to turn the strength up, they finally did. I felt comfortable for a moment and gave the thumbs up (since I couldn't talk with the stuff in my mouth) seconds later the cold air kicked in again. I tried to readjust the mask but it just never did what is intended due to the sensation of cold air blowing up my left nostril. I asked before my next appt what they were willing to do because of the prior experience and their answer was a firm, nothing. I was looking for a forever dentist close to the home I bought and that's def not it. The temporary caps he put on came off within 3 days and I was left to deal with the pain until the appt. I made the mistake of letting the office know before hand that I wouldn't be coming back after the permanent crowns were put on. I told the dentist my teeth , which he ground down for the crowns, were extremely sensitive - even to cold air. That didn't stop him from taking a tool to them anyway, which hurt like hell. Then he numbed me up. I def feel that I got ripped off with that nitrous though they of course defend charging me full price, because it's all about the money. I wanted to like this place. My husband really likes their office and recommended them so you might have a great experience there. I certainly didn't. I'm left with permanent discomfort on the teeth he put crowns on. The dentist warned me that might be the case, however that pain/discomfort wasn't there before. I had to ask him not to grind down my top teeth when working on correcting the bite after the crowns were put on. I felt him grinding on top instead of the crowns. I was also concerned that there was potential decay left before the crowns were put on. I'm not sure that this happened. He reassured me that it was all taken off and said he'd show me pictures, however when the pictures were shown my tongue was covering the area I was concerned about. By then I just wanted to leave so I didn't argue. The office girls are all young, nice, and pretty. The Dr seemed genuinely like a nice guy and I liked him at first.I was hoping it would be my regular dentist but it wasn't meant to be. The dentist I went to before him is a female owned private practice also in Auburn. The nitrous was $90/hr with no tubes shoved up my nostrils & kept me completely relaxed. He and his dental assistants have been very kind in dealing with my older brother who has had a lifetime fear of "the dentist." I've been going here for years! The only good thing about this place is Dr Bah, but after a recent disagreement with their front desk personnel Tori, he refused to call me back and took what ever story she told him and told me to find another dentist without even hearing my version of events. So sad because he was actually the one good thing about this place. So if you're looking for fair treatment DONT GO HERE! Whatever his staff says he goes with without even hearing your opinion, thought, or concerns. Tori will smile in your face and talk shit to the other staff openly at the front desk once you're back in your room. I've witnessed this multiple times waiting on the office lobby. Tori has a complex with wanting people to do " what she says when she says it, and how she wants it done" and if you question her or simply point out where her words are contradicting what she is saying she will run and tell Dr Bah that your the problem. My most recent incident today was so unprofessional and when I was pointing out where what she was saying and what she said didn't make sense she began to talk over me wouldn't let me get another word in and told me Dr Bah wouldn't be available to talk and said maybe I should find another dentist since she's had " issues" with me for years. Then get a TEXT from the doctor saying that I should find another dentist. Don't allow your self or your family to be treated the way they are treating people! Also watch yourself around Tori if you're a current customer because she will bad talk you if you don't act the " way " she wants! I've had multiple issues! All of my crowns have had issues. All of my temporary's always fall off ( never had this issues anywhere ). I've even had what's supposed to be a permanent crown fall off! They use students to provide cleanings and basically anything that the doctor can use them for. Multiple times had to re do my impressions for crowns since the " students " didn't have enough knowledge to do them correctly. Got a completely wrong tooth one time and had to go another week with a bare tooth. The students leave excess product on you and I have to remove them myself! You want quality and respect when you're spending your hard earned money and insurance. Find somewhere else! read more

Dr Bahn is an excellent dentist! He and his staff are very caring and provide top notch dental care. Unlike many other dentists, Dr. Bahn only recommends the truly necessary work and procedures that need to be done to your teeth. His focus isn't on getting rich, it's patient care. I particularly like the fact that he takes many photos of your dental problems to justify why he is recommending that a certain procedure be done. Unlike other dentists he's also very willing to "watch" problematic teeth, rather than jump at the chance to sell you a crown or perform an unnecessary root canal. Dr. Banh and his staff are fabulous! Jenny at the front desk is friendly, inviting and professional. Everyone helps to make you feel comfortable from the moment you walk in. The dental chairs are actually comfortable, and the office uses digital x-rays. I easily transferred x-rays from my previous office, which they were able to use in order to avoid taking more than they needed. While getting your cleaning, they let you choose the music to listen to, and are good at explaining what they are doing. My cleaning felt thourough, and all procedures where explained well. All in all, I'm very satisfied with my treatment at PNW Dentistry, and have already taken my son and husband in for appointments as well. read more

My review is long overdue. Dr. Banh is a great dentist! I'm so glad we found him. I usually don't have problems with my teeth, so it's only been checkups & cleanings for me but each time it's been a pleasant experience. The Dental hygienist I've had has been great and all the staff there are courteous, friendly, and helpful. The office is clean and they try to make the experience as less painful and stressful as possible. Dr. Banh is personable and takes the time to explain things as well as answer any questions you may have. He gives you a detailed picture of what's going on with your teeth and brings out teeth models as well to explain things. If he weren't a dentist, I think he'd be a great educator. From the interactions I've had, I think he enjoys educating people and I can tell that he's passionate and cares about the work he does. I haven't gone myself since the pandemic as I tend to have a weaker immune system so I try to stay away from establishments as a precaution for myself but my family members have gone recently and they haven't had any problems. The office is taking the necessary precautions such as taking all incoming people's temperature, everyone wears masks, and nobody waits in the waiting room. I think they schedule things well so that you're not bumping into other patients as you're coming in or leaving. read more

This is the best place I have gone, hands down, for a dental appointment. Right away, Aubrey greets you and is super helpful and friendly. She took the time to find my insurance and she did all the work to make sure I was being taken care of. I was nervous about going in for my dental appointment, but Alicia made me feel calm right off the bat. She was super friendly, and made me feel comfortable the entire time. I have never recommended any dentist before but I am so pleased with Dr. Bahn I felt I should take the time to write a review. I highly recommend Dr. Banh and his practice. Upon moving to the area I started shopping for a dentist since I needed extensive work done, and my history with dentists weren't great. They were either too rough or didn't really listen to what I needed or tried to get me to get a loan/credit. Upon stopping in the office 'unannounced', Dr. Banh was available, and took the time to talk to me personally for 20 minutes! I made my appointment and I've found my dentist for life. I have now visited 6 times and each time I feel completely comfortable bc I know they'll take care of me and they genuinely care. He is very gentle and makes sure that you are not in pain. He is also extremely honest, which is a rarity these days. You're treated like a family member not just a patient. His assistant Aubrey his super nice and makes you feel at ease as well. Jenny at the front desk, is a wealth of knowledge and always has a smile on her face. Every time I've had work done they've given me a call after to make sure I'm doing alright. Great dentist! The office is newly remodeled and very high tech, but most importantly, Dr. Banh really took his time to examine my teeth and go over the recommended treatment plan. There is a big screen TV in the exam room where he puts up the X-rays so I can follow along and look at them as he explains what he sees. I was first referred here by a friend. It was really for the office hours (open late afternoon and Saturday) that makes me come in this dental place at first. I was however very impressed by the staff. The use of various technology like the xray in the exam room was great to show my teeth condition and make it very easy to follow the dentist explanation.
