While my parents introduced me to a family friend who was a real estate agent, I had no idea how to go about finding a loan officer! After digging through Yelp/Google, I stumbled upon Meridox Mortgage that had stellar reviews and took a chance. I called Meridox and was put in touch with Trung Tran. I let him know that I didn't have any knowledge of how the house-buying process works, but he was incredibly supportive and assured me he would walk me through every step. Shortly after we finished talking on the phone, he sent me a list of items to provide for the pre-approval letter. Trung's turnaround was quick. I sent him my information in the evening and got the letter the next morning. My real estate agent used this letter to draft the offer...it was accepted! After my offer was accepted, the rest of the process was somewhat nebulous, but my real estate agent worked closely with Trung to help me through. Trung was with me every step of the way. He patiently explained how my monthly mortgage payment and closing costs were calculated and even helped me negotiate a home insurance offer. He even kept a close eye on the market and advised me when I should lock in the rate. I thought home buying would be more stressful, but it wasn't as bad as I thought because Trung made every step clear and was very on top of deadlines. From pre-approval to loan closing, it took just one month! Thank you Trung for being so diligent and patient in helping me secure my dream home! Trung was also very proactive in reaching out to me a few months later when interest rates dropped by about 1%. I had the honor of working with Trung again for my refinance, and it was also efficient and painless! I recommended Trung to my coworker recently when she was looking to buy a condo. Highly recommended to anyone who is in a market for a house to look into Meridox!! Thanks again for your hard work, Trung!!!

A little background: I did 2 house purchases, and 1 house sale by myself without a realtor before engaging Meridox. I didn't need handholding, because I was not a first-time buyer. I wanted an advisor who can give me an honest opinion as to pricing, knows the neighborhoods, and can negotiate with the seller's agent. Linh was so on top of things. She understood that I was busy and scheduled multiple showings for me on weekends. She mapped out our route, so we can be efficient with time. She never asked me to consider any property that was outside my price range or not what I was looking for. I was able to knock out many home viewings with her, and we put in a couple of offers. I saw a house that fell out of escrow. I messaged her, and she was immediately on it. She showed me the house, called the seller's agent, and basically convinced the seller to take my offer that was a tad below listing that either that same day or the next. (OC is a hot market, so this was an incredible deal! My other offers all sold above listing.) She was incredibly responsive, super sharp, and very easy to work with. I used Meridox as my mortgage broker as well and used them again to refinance a year later. Very seamless and easy transaction. Forget all the agents who claim to "treat you like family." Choose Meridox: the true professionals.

I read the amazing reviews for "LIZ" and decided on Armstrong Escrow. I should have called first to see who would be working with us so that was genuinely my error. I was not aware that there are multiple agents working for the firm. So unfortunately, we did not have the pleasure of working with Liz or even meeting Liz. Our transaction endured days of unnecessary stress. Real Estate is complicated enough so you have to make sure you have legal resources available on your behalf should anything arise. Unexpected issues & errors are not uncommon in Real Estate transactions but the approach can make or break any situation so accountability could have been handled differently. When errors & gross misjudgment occur on any businesses part, it's best to simply acknowledge that and genuinely apologize without justifying any part on your end. We will go with another Escrow company for the remaining 4 home estates we have in the area!

If you see a home you like, claim it. Then call The Fuentes Group and make it yours. In February…read more2022, I brought my partner and kid to the United States and showed them around my hometown. We spent our first day touring new homes and I told them to pick a room and make it theirs. We snapped pictures like we lived in the house of our choice. My aunt and uncle let us stay in their home rent free with no expiration date. I told them in a year we would be out. They insisted we could stay as long as we needed to and kept us fed. Still, "free rent" is still rent and renting is no fun. The home market was unreal in that first half of 2022. I had no idea how I'd pull it off, but I wanted to give my family the best. A new home builder wouldn't give us the time of day unless we got pre-approved with their in-house lender. Flooded with business, they eventually stopped returning my calls. Two of my friends with big, beautiful houses told me I would never get approved. One told me to save up a huge downpayment and take an ugly high interest loan. The other went so far as to bet me $10,000 it couldn't be done. Just when I was ready to give up, a friend in the industry connected me with Sophia. Finally, I had a judgement-free zone. She said my situation was nothing to worry about because they had tons of resources. After collecting our information, The Fuentes Group got to work. I wanted to teach my family the power of manifestation so day after day I drove back to the neighborhood like we lived there. I walked the park like it was mine. Sometimes when heading home I would stop by the house and pull up to the garage like I was home. Some people teased me when they heard about this. "The house isn't yours yet. Why are you going there?" The truth is, Sophia and Henrik were making it happen. We heard the word "no" a lot. I had NO job in the US. My partner had NO social security number. We had NO co-signer. Still, I kept visiting that house. We went at least 100 times. Whatever Sophia and Henrik said had the builder finally taking us seriously. We were suddenly the most attractive buyers in their book. Our offer was accepted and followed by huge discounts. Then one day, it happened, just like Sophia and Henrik said it would. We were approved, ready to fund, and only needed to sign a stack of documents. Henrik sent a mobile notary at 7 PM and by the next day at 4 PM we had keys to a brand-new home in our hands. Best of all, I was able to keep my promise to my family: we had our own home in under a year. If someone tells you it can't be done, call Sophia Fuentes and get it done.
